The Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 has accused the United Arab Emirates of adopting double standards in enforcement of its COVID-19 protocol for visitors.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, who raised the allegations against UAE during the committee’s briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja said it was targeted at preventing Nigerians from travelling straight from the country to Dubai and its other cities.
The UAE protocols allowed citizens of other countries including Benin Republic and Ghana to travel directly from their countries to its commercial capital, Dubai but denies Nigeria.
SIRIKS however said it will be resolved.
