Reactions have been trailing the decision of Abuja Federal High Court granting the request by the DSS to keep the convener of the #RevolutionNow protests, OMOYELE SOWORE, for 45 days.
The court presided over by Justice TAIWO TAIWOsaid this is to enable the DSS carry out and conclude its investigation of SOWORE on allegations of instigating the public and seeking a change of government in the country.
Lawyer to SOWORE, FEMI FALANA said that he would file an application to challenge the detention order.
He said SOWORE had envisaged the ruling and had instructed that it should be challenged.
Many organisations including the European Union, Afenifere, Committee for theDefence of Human Rights and Free Nigeria Movement have faulted the order.
