Chike has released his sophomore album, which he names "The Brother's Keeper," nearly three years after his ground-breaking first, "Boo of the Booless."
The album was released on Thursday, August 25th 2022.
Chike considers the voyage so far, enjoys and sails in the present, but is weary of an unclear future on his new album.
Chike emphasized situations in which Simi and Mayorkun supported him early in his career in relation to the album's topic.
With the album, he wants to inspire listeners to work hard to treat others decently and to have a positive impact on society via our own actions.
The 16-track CD gives listeners a glimpse of Chike's extraordinary ability, which he employs to provide a wide range of sounds that transcends demographics, languages, and national boundaries.
Major A&Rs and brilliant producers, like Ogaga Sakpaide, DeeYasso, Tee-Y Mix, Killertunes, Echo the Guru, Louddaaa, and others, helped Chike put this album together.
