August 4, 2022 Charly Boy Makes U-Turn, Says His Marriage Is Not About To Crash

Veteran Nigerian artist Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, has reversed his previous remarks regarding his marriage.

Charly Boy had made suggestions that he intended to dissolve his marriage to Lady Dianne.

On August 3, 2022, the musician readdressed his prior statements in a series of tweets posted on his Twitter profile.

"Because of dis my recent post. Some winche pple don begin speculate say my marriage don crash. Abegi ooooo. I just dey talk to many pple wey think say marriage shouldn’t feel like work. Or if it feels like work, we are doing it wrong. Lie," he tweeted.

"Like anything else that is rewarding, we have to work at our marriages. And it’s OK if marriage is hard work! It can never be on auto drive.''

Due to pressure, Charly Boy had posted about wanting to leave his marriage.

"My People, If I tell una say, after over 45yrs of marriage to my wife dat am going back to bachelorhood, what would you say? I don talk say dis marriage of a tin just no easy. The longer u stay, the harder it gets. What should I do? I tire oooo," he tweeted.

In 2018, Charly Boy and Lady D, as they are affectionately known, exchanged official vows to become husband and wife.

He lives at Gwarimpa Estate, and the ceremony took place in the chapel of the Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer Catholic Church there.

According to reports, Bishop Matthew Kukah, a well-known clergyman, presided over the wedding.

Family members and the couple's close friends attended the wedding.
In a Boston, Massachusetts, hair shop where he had gone to get his hair done in 1974, Charly Boy met Lady Dianne, an American.

At 1974, when he was 19 years old, The Music wed Stella in an Onitsha Catholic Church.

One kid was born as a result of the union.
