Lil Smart Petitions Naira Marley and Zinoleesky Over Alleged Death Threats

Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has officially filed a petition against Marlian Records boss Naira Marley and singer Zinoleesky over alleged threats to his life.

On December 9, 2024, Lil Smart took to social media to raise alarm, claiming his life was in danger. He urged the public to hold Naira Marley and Zinoleesky responsible should anything happen to him. Alongside his statement, he shared unsettling videos and photos, alleging that Zinoleesky and others had chased him.

In response, Zinoleesky denied the allegations, accusing Lil Smart of seeking attention.

However, Lil Smart has now revealed via a viral Instagram post that he has submitted his petition and evidence to the authorities, seeking justice through the legal system.

“This is not the first or third time I have experienced this bullying,” he stated. “But I didn’t have enough evidence to take legal action. Now, I thank God I have solid evidence, and I’m determined to ensure this bullying and threat to life stop.

“With my evidence, I hope they’re not too big to face justice. I’ve submitted my petition and evidence to the authorities, and by God’s grace, the law will ensure I get the justice I deserve.”

As of the time of filing this report, Naira Marley has yet to respond to the allegations.

Wike Revokes FCT Land Allocations of Buhari, Abbas, Akume, and Others

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has revoked land allocations belonging to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume.

The revocation also affects 759 other prominent individuals and organizations in Maitama II, Abuja, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) fees.

This development was announced in a publication by the FCT Administration and shared by the special adviser to the FCT Minister, Lere Olayinka.

In a related notice, the minister warned that lands belonging to the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives Kingsley Chinda, former Senate Presidents Iyorchia Ayu and Ameh Ebute, Senate Chief Whip Tahir Monguno, and 610 others could also be revoked if outstanding C of O fees are not paid within two weeks.

The move follows months of appeals from the minister, urging residents of highbrow areas in the nation’s capital to clear their debts to avoid losing their land rights.
