Man Utd. Players Axel Tuanzebe And Anthony Martial Suffer Racial Abuse

Manchester United say they are "disgusted" after Axel Tuanzebe and Anthony Martial were racially abused on social media by "mindless idiots" after Wednesday's loss to Sheffield United.

Both players started the 2-1 Premier League defeat at Old Trafford.

Former United defender Rio Ferdinand called it a "disgrace", adding: "These ignorant idiots need to be exposed so everyone can see them for what they are."

In a statement, the club said: "Everyone at Manchester United is disgusted by the racial abuse received by players via social media after last night's game.

Anti-racism charity Kick it Out said the continued abuse of players on social media is "completely unacceptable" and reiterated its stance that those responsible for online hate must face "real-life consequences".

The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), the players' union, has encouraged Tuanzebe and Martial - as well as any other player targeted by racial abuse - to "press charges".

‘I’m Exactly Where I Need To Be’: Pamela Anderson Marries Her Bodyguard

Pamela Anderson has spoken of how happy she is following her Christmas Eve wedding to her bodyguard.

The former Baywatch star married Dan Hayhurst in a small ceremony at her home on Canada's Vancouver Island.

She told An online source: "I'm exactly where I need to be - in the arms of a man who truly loves me."

This is the 54-year-old's fifth marriage (although she denies she was legally married to her last husband, film producer Jon Peters) and it comes after the two met at the beginning of last year's lockdown.

She said they fell head over heels in love and it was a "natural fit", adding: "This one year together has felt like seven - like dog years."

The ceremony was conducted by a local pastor and blessed by Canadian First Nation representatives.

Anderson said: "I was married on the property I bought from my grandparents 25 years ago. This is where my parents were married and they are still together. I feel like I've come full circle.

"I think this romantic property has a lot of healing energy. I'm at peace here. It's a big property but a few people passing by could see the fairytale gown with the long Princess Diana veil dragging in the mud. Heaven."

The couple chose to have no family or friends and the ceremony and no bridal party.

The guest list would have been limited due to coronavirus restrictions but Anderson added: "We prefer to be ourselves".

Earlier this week, Anderson wrote what she described as her last post on social media.

She said: "I've never been interested in social media and now that I'm settled into the life I'm genuinely inspired by reading and being in nature. I am free.

"Thanks for the love. Blessings to you all.

"Let's hope you find the strength and inspiration to follow your purpose and try not to be seduced by wasted time.

"That's what THEY want and can use to make money. Control over your brain."
