The 29-year-old has also produced individual projects and collaborated with several music superstars including Akon, Bankole Wellington, Falz.
In April, he had teamed up with Akon for ‘Kowope’, a song, which examined hard workers who stay true to their struggle.
In 2019, the singer had also recounted how he grew from relative obscurity into prominence.
“I am a star now. When I released my first single 10 years ago, nobody knew who I was. I have more exposure now and I have grown in my music too. As we speak, I don’t think there is any music-loving Nigerian who doesn’t know Skales,” he had said.
The All Progressives Congress primary election to choose the candidate for the September 19 gubernatorial poll in Edo state is underway.
Pastor OSAGIE IZE-IYAMU and PIUS ODUBU are the two aspirants to slug it out for the party’s ticket in 192 wards of 18 Local Governments in the state.
The State APC governorship election committee headed by the Imo State Governor, HOPE UZODINMA, released guidelines for the party primary election insisting that the exercise would hold as scheduled.
He said its guidelines were in compliance with the state government’s COVID-19 regulations.
But the factional chairman of the APC in Edo State, ANSLEM OJEZUA, rejected the HOPE UZODINMA-led committee noting the purported inauguration was done during the suspension of its National chairman, ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE.
In a swift reaction, DANIEL OSA-OGBEGIE says all is well with the party.
On its part, the state government said, in compliance with its COVID-19 law, the APC must apply for a waiver before organising a political gathering in any part of the state.
