Code of Conduct Tribunal Chairman Caught On Camera Assaulting A Security Officer In Abuja

The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, UMAR DANLADI has been caught on camera physically assaulting a security guard at Banex Plaza in Abuja.

In a five-minute video that has gone viral, DANLADI was seen slapping and kicking the yet-to-be-identified security guard, while police officers suspected to be attached to him were trying to restrain him from attacking the guard.

But reacting to the video in a statement, CCT spokesperson, IBRAHEEM AL-HASSAN, said the security man was rude and had threatened UMAR over where to park his car.

According to the statement, the young security guard could provide a reasonable explanation why UMAR could not park his car at a particular empty space.

In the video, the crowd around the scene was heard shouting "Go away, go away, oga go inside your car, respect yourself.

AL-HASSAN claimed some miscreants in the crowd threw machetes and sharp objects at Umar's car, which led to a deep cut and dislocation in one of his fingers, while damaging his car and windscreen.

Bola Tinubu Says He Meant 50,000 And Not 50 Million Youths For Army Recruitment

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, BOLA TINUBU has said he made an error while calling for more youths to be drafted into the Nigerian Army in a bid to tackle insecurity in the country.

This was stated in a communique by his media aide, TUNDE RAHMAN.

According to the communique, TINUBU seeks the expansion of security personnel by 50,000 youths recruited into various national security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army, not the 50 million that was mentioned in error at his 69th birthday and 12th colloquium in Kano state.

It added that the crucial matter is that TINUBU rightly observed that such strong recruitment would serve the twin-purpose of helping to tackle unemployment while at the same time enhancing the security of every Nigerian.
