Arsenal Star, William Saliba ‘Faces Investigation For Allegedly Sharing A Snapchat Video Of A Naked Team-Mate Masturbating

Arsenal defender, William Saliba is set to be investigated by the French Football Federation (FFF and equivalent of the FA) over a leaked Snapchat video featuring a naked team-mate masturbating.

The Frenchman, 19, who is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Nice, has come under fire after the clip emerged online this week.

In the video, Saliba is seen sporting the Nike tracksuit of the French national team, alongside a few teammates, before the camera is shifted to a completely naked teammate, who appears to be masturbating.

RMC Sport report that the video is an old video from three-years ago, meaning that the youth players involved were all likely under the age of 18.

According to the French outlet, the FFF’s disciplinary commission have been called upon, with an investigation to be opened into a video that is considered harmful to the federation’s image.

Saliba signed for Arsenal from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2019 for a fee of around £27m. He was sent straight back to Saint-Etienne on loan and expected to make an impact when he arrived back in London.

On his return, he made two appearances in the Football League Trophy for Arsenal's U23s and failed to make a single senior appearance for the north London club before being sent back on loan to Ligue 1 with Nice in January.

However, Saliba has impressed at Nice, winning the club's player of the month award for January.

On Tuesday, he took a swipe at Gunners boss Mikel Arteta for 'judging him on two-and-a-half games' before deciding he wasn't in his plans for the season.

'It is clear that so much has changed in the last year,' he told RMC's 'Top of the Foot' show.

'When I saw that the coach changed, a lot changed for me too. In this year there has been a lot of change. He judged me on two-and-a-half matches. I would have liked for him to play me more. But he told me I wasn't ready.

'I was waiting for him to give me a chance, but football is like that. When I initially came to Arsenal the league looked very good so I showed up to training and wanted to train on my own to show the coach I was ready.

'I am happy now, I want to play for Nice. The idea when you're part of a team is a better feeling for me.'

Juventus Edge Past Inter Milan To Reach Coppa Italia Final

Juventus beat Inter Milan 2-1 on aggregate to reach the Coppa Italia final following a 0-0 draw in the second leg of the semi-final.

Leading from the first leg in Milan, Juve survived a couple of scares before making it to the final for the second successive season.

Former Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi missed presentable chances for the visitors.

Cristiano Ronaldo was denied by two superb saves from Samir Handanovic.

Inter took the lead in the first leg through Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez but Portugal forward Ronaldo scored twice in a nine-minute spell.

Juve will face the winners of the second semi-final between Atalanta and Napoli - who meet on Wednesday with the tie 0-0 after the first leg - in the final on 19 May.

Napoli beat Juventus 4-2 in a penalty shootout in last season's Coppa Italia final.

Real Madrid Up To Second After Getafe Win

Real Madrid moved up to second in La Liga as they closed the gap to leaders Atletico Madrid with a comfortable win over Getafe.

The reigning champions began the contest without nine first-team players because of injury or suspension but were dominant throughout.

Karim Benzema headed in the opener before defender Ferland Mendy doubled the lead from a move he started.

Real now trail Atletico by five points but have played two games more.

With the likes of Eden Hazard, Sergio Ramos, Federico Valverde, Toni Kroos and Alvaro Odriozola all absent, Real boss Zinedine Zidane elected to field an unusual 3-4-3 formation.

And it worked perfectly against opponents who lacked ambition and have struggled for goals in the Spanish top flight this term.

Marvin Park, 20, provided an outlet on the right on his first start, and with the result secure Zidane handed a league debut to 20-year-old defender Victor Chust late on.

Serena Williams Into Australian Open Third Round

Serena Williams breezed into the Australian Open third round but Petra Kvitova and Bianca Andreescu were the biggest casualties on the third day.

American Williams, who has dropped just five games in her two matches so far, beat Serbia's Nina Stojanovic 6-3 6-0.

Czech ninth seed Kvitova, who reached the final in 2019, was stunned 6-4 1-6 6-1 by Sorana Cirstea of Romania.

Andreescu, playing in her first major since winning the 2019 US Open, lost 6-3 6-3 to tricky Taiwanese Hsieh Su-wei.

Last year's finalist Garbine Muguruza continued her good form on the hottest day of the tournament so far with a 6-3 6-1 win over Russian Liudmila Samsonova.

Belarusian seventh seed Aryna Sabalenka also advanced, beating Daria Kasatkina of Russia 7-6 (7-5) 6-3.
