National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop WALE OKE, gave this charge while addressing a press conference on the state of the nation at the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Mowe, Ogun State.

He said until government ensures that there is equity in the participation and representation in governance by the people, agitation in parts of the country will never stop.

According to him, if government silence NNAMDI KANU and SUNDAY IGBOHO, others will rise so long there is injustice in the land.

Bishop OKE also appealed to the federal government to prioritize security of lives and property in the country.

Gunmen Invade Imo State House Of Assembly Shooting Sporadically

There was pandemonium at the Imo state House of Assembly yesterday as gunmen invaded the complex shooting sporadically following the suspension of six lawmakers by the Speaker, PAUL EMEZIEM.

He said they were suspended over alleged unparliamentary conduct.

Four lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress and two from the Peoples Democratic Party were affected by the sanction.

Among those suspended include former leader of the House, UCHE OGBUAGWU, member representing Obowo state constituency, KENNEDY IBE and a member representing Oru west DOMINIC IZERUOHA.

The House also removed the Chief Whip, ARTHUR EGWIM, and replaced him with OBINNA OKWARA.

But ARTHUR EGWIM described the action as illegal.

Reacting on the development, Constitutional lawyer, FRED NZEAKO described the invasion as desecration of the hallow chamber.

He however noted that this has become a trend since those who invaded the National Assembly in the past have not been sanctioned.
