The leaders of the All Progressive Congress in Plateau State have deepened their plans for Governor Simon Lalong to contest the 2023 presidential election.

The leaders, who met in Jos to discuss Lalong’s candidature, also discussed the recent political crisis in the state as well the crisis in the state House of Assembly.

In their resolution, they noted that Governor Lalong has been handling all the political crises effectively and that is why they have not degenerated into violence.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders after their meeting, Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, said the governor is a candidate who can take the nation to a greater height.

He said despite the plans of the crisis merchants in the state; the governor has been running an all-inclusive government.
