President Bola Tinubu has hailed the Supreme Court verdict that upheld his election victory at the February 25 presidential poll, stating the nation’s judiciary has never been shaken.

The apex court, in its ruling, dismissed the appeals by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar; and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.

A seven-judge panel ruled as without merit the opposition appeals over claims of fraud, electoral law violations, and Tinubu’s ineligibility to run for president.

He said the verdict has put an end to the distraction the litigations brought, which will allow the government forcus on delivering the dividends of democracy.

He commended the judiciary for demonstrating its commitment to upholding the rule of law, while urging Nigerians across board to unite and work towards the common interest of the country.
