Edun disclosed this when he appeared before the House of Representatives on the second edition of its sectorial debates and dialogue as part of its periodic policy brief series.

Key financial sector stakeholders include the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu; the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso; and the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue, FIRS, Zacch Adedeji.

Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka, Condemns Tinubu’s Government For Nigeria’s Challenges

In a fiery sermon delivered at his Adoration Ministry in Emene, Enugu State, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, aimed at President Bola Tinubu's administration, he highlighted concerns about insecurity and hardship in the country.

Mbaka expressed that Tinubu's path to the presidency faced numerous obstacles, such as the Naira redesign policy, suggesting that his success was due to providence.

However, the priest lamented the perceived lack of political will from President Tinubu to address Nigeria's challenges, particularly corruption within the oil sector controlled by a specific cabal. Despite urging the president to take decisive action, Mbaka noted that Tinubu had not yet confronted these powerful figures.

Mbaka emphasised the broken hearts of Nigerians, pointing to issues in education, healthcare, and the plight of security forces. He called on the president to tackle these problems promptly, asserting that God was watching.

The priest questioned the state of the oil sector, emphasising the need for accountability and transparency. He urged Tinubu to confront corrupt individuals, even if they didn't support him during his political journey.

Mbaka also warned of a looming wave of hunger if insecurity persisted, citing attacks on farmers by armed herders. He urged citizens, including politicians, to engage in meaningful activities and emphasised the importance of addressing insecurity for the nation's well-being.

Reiterating his belief in Tinubu's potential to bring positive change, Mbaka encouraged the president to use his wealth and influence to implement transformative policies. He specifically mentioned addressing high-interest loans from banks and supporting youth empowerment.

Mbaka's history of controversial prophecies, including his previous endorsement of President Buhari and subsequent disagreements with the Buhari presidency, was also mentioned in the blog post.
