Eddie Nketiah’s Hat-Trick Sends Arsenal Into Carabao Cup Semi-Final

Eddie Nketiah continued his prolific form in the Carabao Cup with a clinical hat-trick as Arsenal saw off League One Sunderland to book their spot in the semi-finals.

The forward turned in from close range to open the scoring after Rob Holding's header was palmed into his path and Nicolas Pepe soon doubled the hosts' lead.

That looked to have put the Gunners in control only for Sunderland to hit back when Nathan Broadhead coolly clipped over the onrushing Bernd Leno from Elliot Embleton's superbly-weighted pass.

Arsenal's 18-year-old debutant Charlie Patino then capped a superb night for the Gunners with an injury-time fifth at Emirates Stadium.

Sunderland were competitive but, despite Embleton curling against a post from distance, the visitors struggled to contain their top-flight hosts and it was a comfortable victory for Mikel Arteta's men.

Arsenal will discover their last-four opponents on Wednesday when the draw takes place after Tottenham host West Ham.

Bernadeschi Ends 60-Game Scoring Drought In Juventus

Federico Bernardeschi ended his 60-game scoring drought for Juventus as they beat Cagliari to move up to fifth in Serie A.

Moise Kean headed Juve into the lead from a ball by Italy winger Bernardeschi.

Bernardeschi, 27, then hammered a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to seal the win against the side second from bottom in the table.

His last Juve goal was on 26 July 2020, 513 days ago.

Massimiliano Allegri's side have won four of their past five games in all competitions, conceding only once in that run.

Barcelona Held At 10-Man Sevilla

Barcelona ended a torrid 2021 in disappointing fashion with a La Liga draw at 10-man Sevilla.

Xavi's men failed to find a win that would have taken them up to fourth.

Xavi's side do move up one spot to seventh, while second-placed Sevilla failed to make up ground on league leaders Real Madrid and are now five points adrift of Carlo Ancelotti's men.

Poco Lee Stole My Song, $2400 Wizkid Sprayed Me – Zazoo Crooner

On December 31, 2021, Nigerian artist, Portable took to his TikTok account to express displeasure at celebrated dancer, Poco Lee's involvement with his hit record, 'Zazoo Zeh.'

He also claimed that he won't agree to the release of a video for the song.

You will recall that a few days ago, a video of a sobbing Portable hit the internet, while he was holding the legendary Olamide, and thanking him for featuring on the hit record. When the record his Audiomack, it was doing 2,000 every 10 seconds. A lot of fans also pledged money to Poco Lee via Audiomack Supporters.

Now, Portable is mad that Poco Lee has rights to his song. On most streaming platforms, the record is credited to 'Poco Lee X Portable X Olamide.' Portable is displeased by the fact that Poco Lee's name comes first on the record, not his.

In his rant, he says that, "Poco Lee, I am the one who sees a gun but doesn't shoot. You no show love o. Shey na you get Zazoo ni? Na Olamide bless me o, but you carry my song. You don rip me now. Even if you worked on the song, why is your name first in the credits?

He also claimed that he won't agree to the release of a video for the song.

In the end, he claimed that when Olamide brought him on stage to perform 'Zazoo Zehh' at the Livespot Festival, Wizkid sprayed him $3000, but Poco Lee only gave him $600.
