Trey Songz Accused Of Sexual Assault By Basketball Player Dylan Gonzalez

The music star has denied the allegation.

American singer Trey Songz has been accused of sexual assault by basketballer Dylan Gonzalez.

The former University of Nevada basketball star took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, where she revealed that Trey Songz raped her and caused her “unbearable PTSD.”

“With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well known Las Vegas Hotel,” she wrote.

Gonzalez also encouraged victims of sexual abuse to come forward. “Suppression of our voices only emboldens our oppressors, and you cannot heal what you do not reveal,” she wrote.

The music star has, however, denied the allegation.

Chris Wood Set To Undergo Medicals In Transfer To Newcastle

Chris Wood, on Wednesday, will have his medicals with Newcastle as he finalizes personal terms for a £25 million move from Burnley.

Newcastle has triggered a release clause in Wood’s contract in order to secure a replacement for Callum Wilson, who has been ruled out for two months with a calf injury sustained in Saturday’s FA Cup third-round defeat to Cambridge United.

Wood has been a crucial striker for relegation opponents Burnley, who are just one point ahead of Newcastle in the bottom three on goal difference, but the 30-year-old’s contract included a clause that allowed him to leave Turf Moor if a specified sum was offered.

With three goals for Burnley this season, the New Zealand international has plenty of Premier League experience and might be a starter as Newcastle prepare for a critical home encounter against Watford on Saturday.

Newcastle could still possibly acquire two new strikers before the end of the January transfer window, with talks for Reims striker Hugo Ekitike still underway.

The Premier League team has made an informal bid for Ekitike, but it falls short of Reims’ £30 million asking price for the in-form France U20 international, with negotiations between the two clubs continuing.

The Magpies are set to make a formal bid, although two undisclosed Premier League clubs are also interested in signing the striker.

If Wood completes his deal to fellow Premier League strugglers Newcastle, Burnley are said to have lined up two potential replacements.

Both of the individuals Burnley are considering replacing the New Zealand international ply their trade overseas. The Clarets are looking for flexible individuals that can play across the frontline in order to add pace to their current attacking lineup.

Novak Djokovic Admits To Breaching Isolation Guidelines After Positive Covid Result

After testing positive for Covid-19 last month, Novak Djokovic admitted to breaking isolation regulations and making mistakes in his travel form.

The Serbian admitted to a journalist for an interview two days after testing positive on December 16 in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

He wrote, “I accept that I should have rescheduled.”

The tennis world number one also blamed his agency for a mistake on the travel paperwork he used to enter Australia in the letter.

On the 6th of January, shortly after arriving in the nation, his visa was revoked due to concerns about the vaccine exemption that would have allowed him to enter.

However, on Monday, a judge drastically overturned the ruling and ordered the player’s release from custody.

While the Australian government decides whether or not to deport him, his activities are being probed.

Djokovic is expecting to defend his Australian Open title next week despite being unvaccinated. He will become the most successful male tennis player in history if he wins the tournament, which will be his 21st grand slam.
