Tacha Calls Out Biggie For Not Disqualifying Ilebaye

Controversy Surrounds Biggie's Decision: Tacha Demands an Apology

The organizers of the Big Brother Naija reality show are facing backlash for their handling of Ilebaye's physical attack on fellow housemate CeeC during a recent Saturday night party.

Many viewers expected Ilebaye to be disqualified following the altercation.

Surprisingly, Biggie chose to be lenient, issuing Ilebaye 2 strikes and announcing that she would face further punishment during the week. This decision didn't sit well with some viewers, especially considering how Tacha was disqualified during the Season 4 Pepper Dem edition for her violent behavior towards Mercy Eke in 2019.

In response to Biggie's decision, Tacha expressed her frustration on Sunday via her Twitter handle. She demanded an apology from the show organizers for her disqualification in 2019, calling them a "bunch of jokers" and hinting at possible consequences if she doesn't receive an apology before the next day.

The situation has left fans divided, with some supporting Biggie's approach to discipline, while others stand with Tacha, demanding fairness and consistency in handling housemate behavior. As the controversy unfolds, the show's organizers may find themselves under increasing pressure to address the concerns raised by both viewers and former contestants like Tacha.

Daniel Evans Beats Tallon Griekspoor To Win First ATP 500 Title.

Britain's Dan Evans won the first ATP 500 title of his career by beating Tallon Griekspoor in the Citi Open final in Washington DC.

Evans, now the world number 21, triumphed 7-5 6-3 against the Dutchman after a 90-minute rain stoppage.

"To do the work I've done and to stick with it and come through is [amazing]," said Evans.

American 19-year-old Coco Gauff beat Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-2 6-3 to take the women's title.

"It was really tough a couple weeks ago," said world number seven Gauff, who was knocked out in the first round at Wimbledon last month but did not drop a set in the Citi Open. "We were all feeling it and I'm glad that I was able to bounce back."

British number two Evans, 33, required four break points to take the opening set, before play was suspended at 2-2 in the second because of rain and lightning.

After the restart Evans cruised through his remaining service games until he saved four break points in the penultimate game of the match.

He is the first Briton to win the tournament since Tim Henman in 2003.

Messi Scores Another Stunning Brace As Inter Miami Defeat Fc Dallas.

Lionel Messi's stunning brace helped Inter Miami seal a dramatic victory against FC Dallas to reach the quarter-finals of the Leagues Cup on Sunday.

FC Dallas led 4-2 with 10 minutes left but two late goals took the game to a penalty shootout.

Miami won the shootout 5-3 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Miami were winless in 11 before Messi's arrival but have now won four in a row.

The former Barcelona and Paris St-Germain forward opened the scoring after six minutes, sweeping a curling shot inside the near post from outside the penalty area, but Dallas were 3-1 ahead with just over an hour played.

Midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi reduced the deficit for Miami but a Robert Taylor own goal restored Dallas' two-goal cushion.

Miami were given hope in the 80th minute when Marco Farfan headed a Messi cross into his own net, before the 36-year-old World Cup winner curled home a stunning free-kick to level the tie five minutes later, taking his tally to seven goals in four appearances.

Messi set Miami on their way in the penalty shootout with former Barcelona team-mate Sergio Busquets also keeping his cool from 12 yards as Paxton Pomykal's miss for Dallas proved costly.

Inter Miami are the first club to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Leagues Cup, which debuted in 2019 and involves teams from the United States and Mexico competing in a knockout format.
