Primate Ayodele Cautions President Biden Against Invading Niger Republic

Primate Ayodele's Strong Warning to President Biden Regarding Niger Republic Invasion.

Renowned spiritual leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has delivered a firm caution to United States President Joe Biden, advising against any intentions of imposing democracy on the Niger Republic. This counsel comes in the wake of a recent coup that ousted President Mohammed Bazoum, sparking concerns about potential intervention.

Primate Ayodele, who leads the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, expressed his concerns through his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho.

He stressed that any US efforts to invade the Niger Republic could lead to disastrous consequences, even provoking a cataclysmic third-world war. Such actions, he warned, would be regarded as an affront to divine will and may trigger divine retribution.

Labeling such an invasion as "satanic and terrorist," Primate Ayodele urged President Biden to respect the sovereignty of the Niger Republic. He advocated allowing the people of Niger to determine their path, underscoring that any intervention would not only disrupt global peace but also tarnish the reputation of the US administration.

Primate Ayodele emphasized the potential repercussions for President Biden's political future, including his aspirations for a second term, if he pursued such a move. He pointed out that such a course of action would not only bring divine displeasure but also create wider turmoil that extends beyond regional conflicts.

In his plea for restraint, Primate Ayodele delivered a resounding message: "Don't invade Niger; such an act would only exacerbate global peace and stability. Initiating a conflict of this magnitude at this juncture would be unwise and could potentially lead to a third world war."

Akpabio Causes Stir With Slip-Up About Senators’ Vacation Allowance Payments

Senate President Godswill Akpabio's unintentional announcement of holiday allowances for senators during a live TV broadcast has ignited a wave of diverse opinions.

Akpabio informed senators that the National Assembly's clerk would transfer funds to their bank accounts to facilitate their vacation.

This incident has triggered discussions among Nigerians, who are criticizing the high cost of governance and the perceived lack of political leaders' empathy.

The incident took place on video just before the Senate's ministerial screening concluded with a motion of adjournment. Akpabio retracted his statement once colleagues alerted him to the live televised plenary session.

Public Affairs Analyst Fred Nzeako questioned the surprise surrounding the announcement in an interview with Inspiration FM.

Caroline Wozniacki Wins Comfortably On Return To Tennis

Caroline Wozniacki said she was “definitely a little rusty” following her first-round victory at the Canadian Open on her return to tennis after retiring in 2020.

The former world number one, 33, has since given birth to two children and beat qualifier Kimberly Birrell of Australia 6-2 6-2 in Montreal.

“It feels great,” said Wozniacki.

She will face Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova, who beat Mayar Sherif 6-4 6-2, in the second round.

Of her return to action, Wozniacki added: “What an amazing place to come back and play my first match. I love playing here in Montreal”.

In June, the Dane announced her desire to play in this year’s US Open. She reached the final of the tournament in New York in 2009 and 2014.

Soon after the interview with Vogue, Wozniacki was handed a wildcard for the event at Flushing Meadows, which begins on 28 August.

She had not played a competitive match since the Australian Open more than three years ago and became a mother to daughter Olivia in June 2021 and son James in October 2022.

Wozniacki called her first win as a mum “pretty crazy” and said her children would be “napping right now, which is awesome”.

“I’m going to catch them after I do a little bit of treatment and food and stuff,” she added. “That’s the good part of playing early, I still have the afternoon with them.”

Wozniacki dropped the opening game but rallied to take the final four games of the opening set, before securing the match in the second set by breaking 115th-ranked Birrell with a backhand winner.

Her next opponent Vondrousova was featuring for the first time since her victorious campaign in SW19 when she beat Ons Jabeur in the final.
