Renowned singer and songwriter Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike, took a moment to reflect on his pre-fame days when he could lead a more ordinary life.

During a recent interview, Chike expressed his contentment with his newfound celebrity status but revealed a wistfulness for the simple activities he once enjoyed.

He recounted how he casually strolled to the barbershop for a haircut without the fanfare and interruptions from admirers. In his words:

"While I have no regrets, as I consciously ventured into music to gain recognition for my craft, I still wish I could do certain things without causing a stir.

For instance, I used to love taking my car to the car wash and managing things myself. One of my cherished memories from my younger days was visiting a barbershop and getting a haircut. However, the scenario has shifted; now, it's more about staying home. It involves a lot of home time. I'm not excessively outgoing, but certain places appeal to me."

Regarding celebrities embracing fatherhood outside traditional marriage, the singer of the hit song 'Roju' shared that he has no strong opposition. However, his goal doesn't involve having a "baby mama." Chike explained:

"I don't hold any negative sentiments towards it; for most people, it wasn't a deliberate choice. It's an outcome that can occur when a man and woman engage in intimate relations. We're all aware of the possibilities when two people engage in a physical relationship. It might have been perceived as unconventional a few years back, but attitudes have evolved. I don't have a stance on it. The intention is to avoid such circumstances, but if it transpires, we'll deal with it as it comes."
