Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tobi Bakre, is overjoyed to announce the arrival of his second child, a beautiful baby girl. The actor couldn't contain his pride and excitement as he shared the wonderful news with the world.

He introduced the newest member of their family, Kamila A. Bakre. He posted a heartwarming picture of himself with his children - Abdulmalik and the precious newborn Kamila, cradled lovingly in his arms.

In a heartfelt caption, he expressed, "Kamila A. Bakre. Thank God for His miracles. You are a miracle. What a feeling! Girl dad! Feels like a totally different life mission and such a huge blessing. Babuuuuuu @anu.bakre, you do this one. Thanks for being strong and pushing through the 360 of the past 9 months. What a ride. Love you to the end of the world and back."

Tobi's next post captured his pure elation, dancing gleefully in the hospital room while his wife, Anu, was attended to by a nurse. He extended his gratitude to his wife, as well as to the friends and family who stood by them throughout this journey.

He conveyed, "Rarely do my words fail me, regardless of the language! I can’t properly articulate how I feel. It's abundant. Thanks to friends and family who have been a part of this journey. Indeed, it wasn't easy. But don't worry Nunu. The next baby will be my responsibility. Hold on! I'm now a father of two! Unbelievable! Abdulmalik, our watch starts now."

The actor and his wife exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in 2021 and welcomed their first child, a son, in January of the following year. Their charming family of three has now blossomed into an endearing family of four.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has taken a proactive step in investigating the untimely demise of the talented 27-year-old musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Imole Aloba, known as Mohbad.

In a statement released on September 19, 2023, Governor Sanwo-Olu revealed that his administration has been working closely with relevant authorities and monitoring the ongoing investigations' progress.

The passing of this promising artist on September 12, 2023, has ignited a wave of concern and discussion across social media platforms, with Nigerians urging the police to uncover the circumstances surrounding his tragic death. Governor Sanwo-Olu's invitation to the Department of State Services (DSS) is aimed at bolstering the efforts of the police in unravelling the truth. He emphasised that the law would hold anyone guilty of Mohbad's demise accountable.

"To enhance the scope of the investigation, I have enlisted the support of the Department of State Services (DSS) to collaborate and employ cutting-edge technology in our pursuit of the truth. I have instructed that all individuals involved in any events leading up to MohBad's passing be subjected to a thorough investigation," stated Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Furthermore, the governor urged individuals with crucial information that could aid the investigation to come forward, assuring them of complete confidentiality and protection. Both the police and the DSS have committed to providing periodic updates on their progress.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also called for calm among friends and supporters of the late artist, discouraging the spread of unfounded statements and premature judgments. He suggested respecting the investigative process would be the most fitting tribute to Mohbad's memory.

IGP Orders Swift Operation To Curb Ogun Cult Killings

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered swift operations to be carried out to curb the unwarranted killings caused by cult clashes in Shagamu, Ogun State.

This was disclosed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a terse statement Monday on X, formerly Twitter.

He said the Force will support the Ogun Command with resources where necessary, adding that the Command will speak on the incident as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the State Government has announced a restriction of movement from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily in Shagamu due to the ceaseless clashes by rival cult groups.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Lekan Adeniran, a copy of which was made available to reporters in Abeokuta.

The statement assured residents of the town of their security and property.

New Firs Chairman Targets 18% Tax-To-GDP In 3 Years

The Acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji, has promised to surpass Africa’s average tax-to-GDP ratio of 16.5 per cent and achieve an impressive 18 per cent within three years.

He talked about this audacious aspiration upon resumption of office at the headquarters of the Revenue Agency in Abuja.

Adedeji, while speaking at the occasion, said he aims to dust the 10.86 per cent tax-to-GDP standard of the immediate-past Chairman of the FIRS, Mohammad Nami, from six per cent.

He emphasised this during a handover ceremony that marked the transfer of authority from his predecessor to him at the revenue house.

In his remarks at the event, the immediate past Chairman of the FIRS, Mohammad Nami, highlighted some of his achievements in office.
