No Evidence Tinubu Forged Chicago State University Diploma

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) says there is no proof that President Bola Tinubu forged his academic record at Chicago State University (CSU).

BBC’s Global Disinformation Team disclosed this in a report published.

It would be recalled that reactions have been trailing Tinubu’s academic records after Chicago State University’s recent release and deposition of his certificate to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

A US court had asked CSU to release the President’s certificate to Atiku, who contested under the Peoples’ Democratic Party in the 2023 Presidential Election.

While Tinubu, through his aides, has reiterated that his certificate from the CSU was not falsified, on the other hand, the Atiku camp had insisted that the President falsified his certificate submitted to the Independent Electoral Commission.

Tinubu Has No Identity Problem, Needs No Reintroduction

The All-Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a jibe at the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, saying he is seeking “cheap” media attention.

In a Press Conference, Obi had asked President Tinubu to save Nigeria and himself from what he described as “protracted embarrassment and undue anxiety” over the controversy surrounding his certificate.

In a statement, APC Spokesperson Felix Morka said Nigerians who voted for the President know him and were not “groggy” during the polls.

While noting that Tinubu does not need a re-introduction, Morka said the President was elected lawfully.

In the statement, Morka said Obi jumped on the tailboard of PDP’s Atiku’s bandwagon long after his Labour Party had dissociated itself from the former Vice-President's bogus call to action.

Speaking later in an interview, APC National Secretary Ajibola Bashiru called on Obi and others to await the Supreme Court’s judgment.

He stressed that any inquiry into the authenticity of President Tinubu’s certificate is an exercise in futility.

The judge also said the second defendant, Tiwei Monday, was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and failure to report a felony.

The offences contradict Sections 223 and 298 (3) of the Criminal Law, Cap. C. A Vol. 3, laws of Lagos State 2015.

The court, however, adjourned the sentencing of the convicts to November 14th.
