Cab Driver Threatens Legal Action After Adunni Ade Accuses Him of Package Theft

Francis Njoku, an Indrive cab driver accused of stealing a package, has threatened to sue actress Adunni Ade over the incident. The dispute arose after Njoku allegedly refused to deliver Ade's package, ending the trip early.

On Wednesday, Adunni Ade called out the ride-hailing service on Instagram, claiming the driver had taken off with her package and was ignoring her calls. She posted, "@indrive.ng I have contacted you for hours but no response. One of your drivers has stolen my package. He ended the trip before getting to me and not picking up calls."

Her post drew widespread criticism, with many users condemning the company. In a follow-up post, Ade shared that Njoku eventually delivered the package after the company locked his profile. She also posted screenshots of her conversations with Njoku and her fashion designer, who had sent the package.

In the shared messages, Njoku expressed frustration at Ade's accusations and threatened legal action, stating, "You have tarnished my image. My legal team is involved, and we will see you in court. You must issue an unreserved apology and have Instablog remove the post."

In response, Adunni Ade stood by her claims, saying, "I don’t lie or cheat. If we want change, it should begin with us. In all my years of using logistics services, I have never encountered someone as rude, arrogant, and entitled as Francis Njoku."

US Rapper Sean Diddy Jailed Ahead of Sex Crime Trial

US Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky has ordered that renowned American singer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs be held in jail pending his trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

Combs is facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. On Tuesday, the judge ruled that he be detained without bail following his not guilty plea.

The denial of bail came after a 14-page federal indictment accused Combs of using his extensive business empire to exploit, threaten, and traffic women to satisfy his sexual desires and protect his public image. Federal prosecutors allege that Combs, with assistance from associates in Combs Enterprise, operated a criminal enterprise involved in sex trafficking, arson, forced labor, and kidnapping, among other offenses.

Two of the three charges against Combs carry a maximum penalty of life in prison. Prosecutors have argued for his continued detention until trial. In contrast, his defense team has requested his release on a $50 million bond, with home detention and electronic monitoring.
