Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia has finally broken his silence over the crisis rocking his marriage.

The music star took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, where he appealed to his family members and supporters to back off his personal life.

"I admit that bringing our personal issues to social media was not cool but I will not sit back and watch everyone have a free for all battle in the name of love and solidarity," he wrote.

"None of us is perfect. I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids."

The music star's statement came on the heels of the social media drama that has rocked his marriage to movie star, Annie Idibia.

The actress had called out her husband and his family over the treatment melted on her.

She accused his family of not loving and caring about her since their marriage.

She also called him out for his suspicious relationship with Pero.

While responding to her claims, the music star's younger brother, Charles, accused Annie of publicly humiliating and using charms on him.

The businessman has revealed that they have been married for four years.

Husband of controversial BBNaija housemate Tega Dominic has cleared the air on events involving the housemate and her rendezvous while in the house.

In an exclusive interview with blogger, Tunde Ednut, AJ Money revealed that contrary to Tega's claims, they never reached an agreement permitting her to get intimate with male housemates.

"I am going to be honest, before she left for the big brother house, she said something like she was going to do everything but she was not going to have sex. I was like 'I don't understand. What do you mean like everything? C'mon, if you go in there and act anyhow, we are in Nigeria. If you act anyhow, people will vote you out and judge you. So if you are going there, represent us as a married woman.' That was what I told her which she agreed with me. So I really don't understand what I was seeing on TV. I was really broken."

While admitting he was yet to speak to his wife since her Sunday eviction, the father of one shared that her display on the show was shocking as she had never showed signs of infidelity.

"We are very very responsible. Tega is a very good girl so I wonder why she just went there and did what she did...I feel broken like my ego has been tampered with. I can't even leave my house 'cause there are a lot of stories on the streets.

"I am surprised and I didn't believe that was my wife. Tega is a god-fearing woman. She has never for one day disobeyed me or even tried to...Mehn! This is a different Tega I am seeing."

Reacting to questions on what the future holds for them? AJ Money shared that he has no plans of turning his back on his wife as this will be the first time she will be embroiled in such a mess.

"I know she knows what she did was very bad but she needs us more than ever. I don't think I should abandon her because she needs me. If she comes back and says she is really sorry, I will give her a second chance."

Recall Tega fell out with viewers of the show when she got sexually involved with Boma. Their Sunday evening eviction was met with massive jubilation.

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye ex-housemate, Tega, said that she’ll own up to her actions and tender an unreserved apology to Nigerians and her husband.

While still on the show, Tega, a married mother-of-one, set tongues wagging when she kissed Boma while in bed. She also kissed Boma in front of the housemates and at the executive lounge.

Speaking about her actions, she said, “We were on the show and we had some talks. And of course, we were enjoying the buzz from the housemates. So we kept on doing it.

“We went on at it but coming out of the show, we realised that we pushed the button too far and it exploded, of course.

“Definitely, I’m going to own up to everything and then tender a sincere apology to Nigerians and of course my husband.”
