Comedian Nastyblaq Sparks Relationship Rumours With BBNaija’s Tolanibaj

Instagram comedian, NastyBlaq has sparked relationship rumours with former Big Brother Naija housemate TolaniBaj.

Recall TolaniBaj revealed during the reunion series that she was in a healthy relationship.

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, the IG comedian took to his Instagram Stories where he asked fans to throw questions at him.

"Are you in a relationship?'' a fan asked.

He went onto share a video of the reality TV star wearing a face mask walking towards him with the caption ''I care about someone."

Another inquisitive fan asked him to show the face of the lady behind the mask and alas! It was your favourite reality TV star.

It would be recalled that during the reunion season of the reality TV show, TolaniBaj revealed that she was in a healthy relationship.

She even revealed that her partner was 6'5 tall.

Born Emmanuel Abisi, NastyBlaq is one of the most popular IG comedians in Nigeria.

Nigeria Basketball Federation Dedicates D’Tigers’ Win Over US And Argentina To Late Nigerian Singer Sound Sultan

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) have dedicated D’Tigers’ recent wins against the US and Argentina to the late Nigerian singer Sound Sultan.

Sound Sultan was a huge part of the Nigerian basketball community.

Sound Sultan was a huge basketball enthusiast. He played in school and in 2015 acquired a stake in the Lagos Islanders, a Lagos-based basketball club founded in 1984.

He actively worked to promote the sport in Lagos and Nigeria.

He died on Sunday, July 11, 2021 after a battle with cancer.

To pay tribute to him and his work around basketball, the NBBF on social media dedicated Nigeria’s big wins against the USA and Argentina to him.

“We dedicate the victories against US & Argentina to late Olanrewaju Fasasi (@Soundsultan). You saw this day coming when Nigeria would become a dominant force in global basketball. Ironically, the day we won against @usabasketball, that was when you gave up the ghost. RIP,” NBBF said on social media.

Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team D’Tigers in the early hours of Sunday, July 11 pulled off a shocking win over the United States in an exhibition game ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games.

On Monday, July 12, they won another exhibition game against Argentina, the fourth-best team in world basketball.

Naira Marley’s Alleged Internet Fraud Case Adjourned For 3 Months

The alleged fraud case involving Nigerian singer Afeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has been adjourned for three months.

Naira Marley was arrested in 2019 for involvement in Internet fraud.

The music star was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in 2019 for alleged internet fraud.

On Monday, July 12, 2021, Justice Nicholas Oweibo of a Federal High Court in Lagos adjourned till October 5 (85 days) to continue the alleged internet fraud trial.

At the resumption of proceedings, counsel to the EFCC, Bilkisu Buhari, informed the judge that the matter was slated for cross-examination of the second prosecution witness, Anosike.

She prayed the court to invite the witness for the continuation of the hearing.

However, the defence counsel Akinwale Kola-Taiwo, prayed the court for a short date for the continuation of trial on the grounds that “the matter is for mention today and not continuation as disclosed by the prosecution.”

Granting his prayer, Justice Oweibo adjourned the case till October 5, 6 and 7 for continuation of trial.

The long adjournment is in view of the court’s annual vacation, which begins on July 26 and ends on September 17 (53 days).

Comedian Basketmouth Welcomes 3rd Child With Wife Elsie

Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth has welcomed a baby with his wife, Elsie.

This is Basketmouth's fourth child.

The comedian took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, where he announced the big news.

"Happy birthday darling dearest @elsieokpocha I am so blessed to have an amazon for a wife. Here’s wishing you the very best things in life….which starts from me," he wrote.

"P.S: Thanks for updating my fatherhood licence a month ago, I am now upgraded to version 4. P.S.2: You’re beautiful AF!!! ❤️❤️❤️."

Elsie also took to her Instagram page where she shared the good news. However, she revealed she had three miscarriages before welcoming her third child.

This is Basketmouth's fourth child.

The comedian and his wife have three children together.
