Wizkid Reveals Justin Bieber Reached Out To Him For The Remix Of ‘Essence’

Wiz says he had Bieber have made more music together.

Nigerian music superstar Wizkid has revealed that Justin Bieber reached out to him for the remix of his hit record ‘Essence’.

Wizkid had Bieber on the remix of his successful record ‘Essence’, which is off his 2020 album ‘Made in Lagos’.

Bieber’s appearance on the record has further driven the song up the Billboard Hot 100 Chart-the remix is currently number nine.

Speaking about the remix, Wizkid revealed that it was Bieber that reached out to him.

“He reached out to me and he loved the record. He sent the verse and it was just fire,” Wizkid told American entertainment media platform, Complex.

“We linked up and we performed it together. We got some more music together as well.”

Bieber was excited when he jumped on the remix, taking to his social media to thank Wiz for letting him be on the ‘song of the summer’

He also went ahead to create his video for his verse and brought out Wizkid to perform the song on his set at Made in America.

Wizkid has broken several records with the record ‘Essence’, which also features Nigerian singer Tems.

In July, it became the first Nigerian song to crack the Billboard Hot 100 chart and rose to top-20. In September, it topped the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B chart and in October became the first Nigerian song to be certified platinum in the United States.

Mercy Johnson Okojie Slams Her Daughter’s Teacher For Allegedly Bullying Her

The movie star said the teacher told her daughter to her face that she doesn't like her mother.

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has slammed one of the teachers at her daughter, Purity's school for bullying her.

According to the movie star, the said teacher has been constantly bullying her daughter for two weeks.

A situation her daughter brought to her attention. She said she, however, allowed things to slide because she felt her daughter was exaggerating.

Things took a different turn on Thursday, October 21, 2021, when she went to pick her daughter from school.

According to the 8-year-old, she was treated unequally by the same teacher after an incident with another student.

The movie star revealed that the teacher told her daughter squarely that she doesn't like her mother.

The actress also denied the claims by an Instagram user, that she visited the school with thugs to manhandle the headteacher.

She also said the reason she change her daughter's school was because of the distance contrary to the claims by the IG user who said otherwise.

Okojie said she has reported the matter to the school authorities who say they would handle the situation.

‘Una No Fit Make Me Crase’ – 2Face Idibia Rants On Instagram

Popular Nigerian artists went on a surprising rant on social media.

The music star who is known for abstaining from social media drama took to his Instagram page on Monday, October 18, 2021, where he clearly dropped a message for someone.

"When you allow some people access to you...no shaking. Your disrespect only shows who you are. Don't be shy. Enjoy what you hope to enjoy. We shall meet in front," he wrote.

"I will never change who I am for anything or anybody. Just enjoy the privileged of having access to God now. It shall be well.

"Una no fit make me crase. E nor go happen."

It is not clear who the messages were met for but it may be connected to the recent drama in his marriage and family.

In September, the music star's wife called him out over his 'suspicious' relationship with one of his baby mamas, Pero.

She also accused his family of not loving and caring about her since their marriage.

A few weeks later a leaked audio taping of the movie star surfaced where she threatened fire and brimstones.

2Face later released a statement asking the public to back off his marital issues.
