Cardi B Deletes Twitter After Backlash For Not Attending Grammys 2022

American rapper Cardi B has deleted her Twitter account following the backlash for not attending the Grammys 2022.

The rappers kids were called demeaning names leading to her exit from the social media app.

The mother of two took to her Twitter page on Sunday, April 3, 2022, where she slammed her fans and followers over comments about her children.

"I’m deleting my Twitter but On God I hate this f–kin dumbass fan base. You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all cause y’all though [sic] I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f–k ?” she tweeted.

“When the f–k I hinted I was going? just f–kin stupid I can’t I needs to protect myself.”

Cardi B who was nominated for the Best Rap category's tweets came after demeaning comments were made about her children.

"I bet yo son wouldn't like for you to be on your ass while teasing us fans and not ever dropping music,” one troll tweeted, to which Cardi harshly responded, “I hope your moms die.”

Another Twitter user referred to her kids as being austisic.

“@iamcardib do you kiss your @utistic child with that mouth?” the troll tweeted, leading Cardi to reply, “None of my kids are autistic…don’t project wat u got on my kids the f–k.”

This is the second time the rapper will be deleting her Twitter page over perceived bullying.

Cardi B and her hubby Offset have two children together.

Angelique Kidjo Wins Another Grammy Award

The 64th Grammy Awards held on On April 3, 2022, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, featuring the likes of Angelique Kidjo who bags another Grammy Award.

The album also features Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi and more on different songs.

At the event, Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar, Wizkid was nominated for two categories: Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album. On the night, he lost the Best Global Music Performance to multiple Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo, who won for her critically acclaimed album, Mother Nature.

The album also features Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi and more on different songs.

During her acceptance speech, she gave a shout-out to those three artists. She said, "When I won [my last] Grammy, I said that the young musicians from Africa are gonna take the world by storm, so I want to thank them: Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Sting, Mr. Eazi..."

"Omg 😳 , take heart my love , plz stay strong 💔," BBNaija's Nina wrote.

Nollywood actress Rita Dominic also sent her condolence message to the reality TV star.

"Awwwww my love 😢😢😢😢 so sorry 🙏🙏🙏 my deepest condolences 💐 GOD KNOWS THE BEST," Destiny Etiko wrote.

Eke emerged as the 4th winner of BBNaija after she was announced the winner of the 2019 edition tagged Pepper Dem.

She became the first female ever to win the BBNaija reality TV show since it began over a decade ago.

Mercy was the last female housemate standing after spending a total of 99 days - 14 weeks - in the house, won herself the grand prize of N60 million.

Yoruba Actor, Dejo Tunfulu ,Dies At 49

Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as "Dejo Tunfulu," prominent Yoruba comedy actor, has died at the age of 49.

Bolaji Amusan, National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), confirmed the death to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.

Amusan, who was in shock and emotional about the development said the deceased died on Thursday night.

He said the sad occurence was shocking as late Adetokunbo still attended a party three days ago.

“Yes, we lost Dejo Tunfulu, I am so shocked because he still attended a party three days ago.

“May God grant him eternal rest, the association will communicate to the public further,” he said.

Adetokunbo is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer and producer.

He was born on May 31, 1972 in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State and hails from Ikija area of Abeokuta in Ogun.

He is known for “Hally The Drummer” (2016) and “Jide Jendo
