Burna Boy Reveals Toni Braxton Gets 60% Royalty From His Song ‘Last Last’

Burna Boy said in an interview that Toni Braxton, an American R&B singer, receives 60% of the royalties from his most recent track, "Last Last." When asked how the single came to be, Burna Boy revealed this when participating in a podcast.

Toni Braxton's 2000 R&B smash, "He Wasn't Man Enough," was something the Grammy winner always wanted to sample, and he eventually convinced music producer Chopsticks to help him.

The Afrobeats superstar added that although though Toni Braxton receives 60% of the single's earnings, he was okay with it because his only priority was writing a fantastic song.

Following the viral success of the @Nateusborne video, the disclosure generated a lot of buzz on Twitter.

Since its debut, "Last Last" has achieved widespread recognition both domestically and abroad. Its success was a major factor in the shock the disclosure caused on social media.

Burna Boy is a well-known digital artist, yet a significant portion of his income comes from live performances. Davido Gifts Fan Shoes, N2m On Stage

At a Lago event, David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, showed his devotion for a female fan by giving her his shoes and N2 million.

The singer gave the thrilled fan a pair of his sneakers and welcomed her to the page during his performance at the Infinix VIP event on Sunday night.

The fan was so thrilled to get the shoes that she leaped around the platform, collapsed to the ground, and hugged the performer. The singer then asked one of his assistants to give the fan N2 million.

Many Davido fans have praised the artist for his charitable endeavors after a video of the incident went viral online.

Following the viral video, Davido started to trend on Twitter as his fans sing his praises.

Ladipoe explained how he forgot his lyrics while performing on stage

In the fun and lively interview, Ladipoe mentioned that his first pay ever was 50k after a show with “Show Dem Camp” a Nigerian rap duo composed of Wale Davies (Tec) and Olumide Ayeni (Ghost).

In response to a question asked by Kolade Dominate, “do you think you are the biggest rapper in Nigeria”?  The first rapper to be signed to Mavin Records responded saying that he thinks biggest is not the word, he would rather call it one of the most important, because coming from a place where rap does not seem like a source of livelihood, he has achieved so much and anything is possible.

The “feeling” crooner featuring singer Bnxnalso explained how he forgot his lyrics while performing on stage and how he stylishly talked to a fan thanking her, while the audience sang that verse for him.

 

 

He said: whhhaaaat all the time, it happens often, you have to get creative before you cast”.

Know you” is definitely a big song, Ladipoe said.
