VeryDarkMan Responds to Femi Falana’s Claims of Threats to His Daughter’s Life

Popular social media critic VeryDarkMan has responded to allegations made by human rights lawyer Femi Falana that his daughter's life has been threatened. This development comes after VeryDarkMan leaked a voice recording on September 24, 2024, in which crossdresser Bobrisky claimed that Falz, the son of Femi Falana, contacted him during his six-month jail term. In the controversial audio, Bobrisky alleged that Falz requested his help to secure a presidential pardon for ₦10 million through his father.

In response to the leaked audio, Falz and Femi Falana threatened to sue VeryDarkMan for defamation. However, in an interview on Monday, October 7, Falana revealed that his decision to take legal action has led to threats against his and his daughter’s lives. Falana described the situation as deeply troubling, stating, "Some of these individuals, who I believe are mentally unstable, have threatened to burn down my office if I go to court. They’ve also sent messages to one of my daughters, saying they will kill her if I proceed with legal action."

Reacting to this in a video on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan firmly denied any involvement in the threats against Falana and his family. He expressed his willingness to cooperate with Falana in identifying the individuals behind the threats, noting that such actions might be an attempt to manipulate the situation.

"I want to state that I have no knowledge of anyone sending threats to Uncle Femi Falana or his family. I would never condone or participate in such actions. I am fully prepared to work with Femi Falana to uncover whoever is responsible for these threats," VeryDarkMan said.

‘The Real Distraction Isn’t DNA, It’s Sam Larry and Naira Marley’ – VeryDarkMan Revisits Mohbad’s Case

Social media critic Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has revisited the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad. Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, under suspicious circumstances, and was buried the next day. Despite ongoing efforts from his family, authorities, and other stakeholders, the truth behind his death remains unclear.

In a new video, VDM expressed frustration that justice for Mohbad is still out of reach. Initially, VDM had called for a DNA test, alleging that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, may have been involved in the circumstances surrounding her husband's death. However, in a recent shift, he now claims that the focus should be on Mohbad's former employer, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry.

VDM stated, “The real distraction wasn’t the DNA test; the real distraction was Naira Marley and Sam Larry. They know what happened to Mohbad. I’m telling you the truth. Although no one has provided direct proof that Naira Marley or Sam Larry killed him, they all know what happened that day."

He further accused them of covering up the events that led to Mohbad’s death and attempting to settle personal scores. VDM pointed out that while Mohbad endured various forms of mistreatment, only one incident was shown in a “cropped” video that circulated online, leaving many questions unanswered.

Focus on Having Kids Before Marriage for Career Success, Laide Bakare Advises Women

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has encouraged career-driven women to prioritize having children over getting married. In an interview with Nollywood on Radio, Bakare shared her insights on achieving long-term career success.

She argued that marriage isn't a prerequisite for starting a family, drawing from her own experiences. “If you aspire to be a successful superstar as a young woman, I recommend having children early. This way, you can dedicate the rest of your life to advancing your career, as the family aspect is very important,” she stated.

Bakare acknowledged that marrying young might lead to divorce, clarifying, “What I mean is to start a family early. I never considered marriage when I had my first child; I just wanted a baby.”

She emphasized that her advice is not to rush into marriage but to focus on building a family.

The 43-year-old actress was previously married to Olumide Kunfulire, with whom she welcomed a daughter, Simi, in 2008. In 2013, she married Lagos socialite Tunde Oriowo, and they have two sons together.
