October 29, 2024 CAF 2025 Qualifier: Super Eagles Set to Face Rwanda on November 18
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set November 18 as the date for Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda. The game will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, according to a statement by the Nigeria Football Federation.

This Matchday 6 clash will conclude the qualification race in Group D for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco in December 2025/January 2026. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5 p.m.

CAF has appointed Moroccan officials to oversee the game, with Samir Guezzaz as the match referee, assisted by Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and Kech Chaf Mustapha as the fourth official. Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will act as the match commissioner, and Somalian Ali Mohamed Ahmed will serve as the referee assessor.

Before this, Nigeria will face Benin Republic on November 14 at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, with an 8 p.m. kickoff (Nigeria time). Senegalese officials have been assigned to officiate this Matchday 5 encounter, with Issa Sy as referee, assisted by Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy. Rene Williams Sere from Cote d’Ivoire will be the match commissioner, while Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will be the referee assessor.
