President BUHARI has given a marching order to the nation’s security apparatus including the armed forces and the police to ensure safe return of students and officials abducted by gunmen at the Government Science College, Kagara, in Niger State.
This comes barely 66 days after more than 300 schoolboys were kidnapped by gunmen during an attack on a secondary school in Kankara, a town in Katsina state.
The President has also dispatched a team of security chiefs to coordinate the rescue operation.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, GARBA SHEHU.
He said the President condemned the attack and vowed that the nation will not succumb to terror.
