On Saturday morning, a BRT bus reportedly burst into flames at Maryland in Lagos State. Our correspondent, present at the scene, noted that the bus was traveling from Ikorodu toward CMS when the incident occurred.

At the time of this report, personnel from the Nigeria Police Force, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the fire service, and the local neighborhood security team were on site, working to control the blaze.
