The best skit producers in Nigeria have been rated by award-winning skit creators Brodashaggi and Sabinus.
Samuel Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, emerged as Nigeria's top Instagram skit creator in 2022, according to a report published by the digital analytics company Dataleum on Monday.
The list, which is released four times a year, provides information about the entertainment market for skits.
On the Top Skitmakers list of 2022, Sabinus, commonly known as Mr. Funny, came in second place after Brodashaggi. The top three apps on the list were again Brainjotter, Cute Abiola, and Taaooma.
The company claims that over 175 million people saw the 270 skits Broda Shaggi uploaded on his Instagram profile between January and December 2022. The skit creator topped the list in the first quarter of 2022 and held that position for the following three quarters.
It is not shocking to see Brodashaggi dominate the world of skits because of his unmatched ability to combine humor and narrative.
Sabinus also saw remarkable success in 2022, with excellent following growth and racking up over 169 million views over 191 skits.
With 95.9 million, 94.5 million, and 88 million views, respectively, Brainjotter, Cute Abiola, and Taaooma also made the top five. Taooma is the Queen of Skit Making since she was the only female in the top five.
Top quarterly list of Skitmakers
Sabinus was dominating the world of skit production throughout the second and third quarters of 2022, so this new list is unexpected.

This information became public when the data intelligence and digital eco-system startup Dataleum released its quarterly insight.
In the third quarter, Sabinus received the coveted prize for Male Instagram Skit Maker, while Maryam Apaokagi, as Taooma, got the prize for Female Instagram Skit Maker.
47 million people saw Sabinus' skits during the period under review. He received 44 million viewers in the second quarter.
With 20.8 million, 18.9 million, and 46.4 million Instagram views, respectively, BrodaShaggi, Cute Abiola, and Lasisi Elenu, the fifth guy on the list, closely trailed him in second place.
In the female category, Taooma earned 16.9 million views, which is less than the 24.2 million views she obtained in the second quarter.
