The death of Alhaji Muyideen Bello, one of the most renowned members of the Muslim community, has plunged it into sadness.

Alhaji Bello, who was born in Ibadan in 1940, was well-known for his profound lectures and persistent commitment to Islamic learning.

On Friday morning, Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah, another well-known Islamic scholar, announced his passing.

A popular cleric and disciple of the late Bello, who is also an Islamic musician, Alhaji Basit Olarenwaju, commonly known as Aponle Anabi, confirmed the death on Friday by posting a picture of the 84-year-old scholar on his official Facebook page along with emotional emojis.
