Bandits have reportedly attacked a mining site in Niger State and reportedly killed security agents, civilians, and kidnapped three Chinese nationals.
Additionally, the reporter said that two Chinese expats were among the unspecified number of persons the bandits seized.
The alleged incident took place on Wednesday, June 29, in the early hours of the day at Ajata, Aboki in Gurmana ward of Shiroro Local Government Area in Niger State.
On June 30, 2022, Sani Kokki, the co-convener of the Concerned Shiroro Youth of Niger State, officially verified the occurrence.
According to him, the bandits invaded the mining site and started shooting at the employees and security guards.
Additionally, he said that two Chinese expats were among the unspecified number of persons the bandits seized.
