On the issues of security, at least 222 have been killed by bandits in Kaduna state in the last three months.

The state commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, SAMUEL ARUWAN disclosed this during the presentation of the second quarter of security report before the state security council.

He said the bandits also kidnapped 774 persons during the period.

According to ARUWAN, Kaduna central senatorial district recorded the highest number of casualties of 159 deaths.

Also speaking at the event, Governor NASIR EL-RUFAI insists that the state government is collaborating with security agencies to end all forms of criminality in the state.
