Ayra Starr, a Nigerian singer and rising pop superstar, has been named the latest #UpNow cover artist on popular music streaming platform, Audiomack.
The #UpNow program, which debuted in 2020, is dedicated to highlighting and promoting the world's next generation of music superstars. Each quarter, Audiomack handpicks at least three artists from all genres to promote their talents through specialized marketing, editorial programming, social promotion, playlisting, custom videos, and experiential events.
Ayra has since gone on to become one of Audiomack's most streamed artists, with over 85 million global streams on the platform.
"It's so nice, it's amazing, [and] I'm grateful for the honor," the singer said, referring to her #UpNow selection, which includes some tracks from her debut album, 19 & Dangerous.
