Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba and Enugu Rangers, have been drawn in Group A and Group D of Africa’s second-tier club competition.
The 2019/20 group stage draw of the tournament was conducted on Tuesday at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Former African champions Enyimba will lock horns with West Africa counterparts San Pedro (Ivory Coast), Algeria’s Paradou and Morocco’s Hassania Agadir in Group D.
Rangers battle Egypt’s Al MAsry and newcomers Pyramids, as well as Mauritanian debutants Noadhibou in Group A.
Group B will see a western derby between Mali’s Djoliba and Guinea’s Horoya, while South Africa’s Bidvest Wits and Libya’s El Nasr complete the pool.
Last season’s finalists RS Berkane of Morocco head Group C with DR Congo’s Motema Pembe, Zambia’s Zanaco and Benin debutants ESAE.
Group stage matches will commence on December 1, with the top two sides in each group qualifying to the knockout round.
