Man. Utd Come From Behind To Win At Spurs

Manchester United came from behind once again to win 3-1 at Tottenham and dent the hosts' top-four hopes with just seven Premier League games remaining.

Edinson Cavani had a goal controversially disallowed on 33 minutes after VAR spotted a flailing arm from Scott McTominay on Heung-Min Son in the build-up, a decision described as "embarrassing and ridiculous" by Sky Sports' pundits at half-time, while the South Korea forward himself put Spurs ahead before the break with a far-post finish from Lucas Moura's centre.

United levelled early in the second half as Fred converted a few yards out after Cavani's shot had been parried by Hugo Lloris into the Brazilian's path.

The visitors went ahead as substitute Mason Greenwood's brilliant ball was converted by the diving header of Cavani, and Greenwood rounded off a brilliant second-half performance for the visitors, smashing home after fantastic work from Paul Pogba to assist.

The win means United have taken 28 points from losing positions, the most in the Premier League by some distance, leaving them firmly lodged in second place with nine points separating them and fifth place

But the result leaves Jose Mourinho's Tottenham six points behind fourth-place West Ham with time running out to bring Champions League football back to the club next season.

Inter Milan Go 11 Points Clear After Victory Over Cagliari

Matteo Darmian was the unlikely hero as Inter Milan beat Cagliari to extend their Serie A lead to 11 points.

The former Manchester United full-back tapped home Achraf Hakimi's cross with 14 minutes remaining to seal an 11th successive victory.

Strugglers Cagliari had frustrated Inter who saw defender Stefan de Vrij head against the bar after 68 minutes.

Antonio Conte's side now require 16 points from eight games to win their first league title since 2009-10.

AC Milan are second, with Juventus - who have won the past nine titles - one point behind them after a 3-1 win over Genoa.

Dejan Kulusevski gave Andrea Pirlo's side the lead with a clever finish and Alvaro Morata made it 2-0 after Cristiano Ronaldo hit the post.

Gianluca Scamacca headed in for Genoa but Weston McKennie slotted home to make the game safe.

Hideki Matsuyama Claims Historic One-Shot Victory At Augusta National

Hideki Matsuyama held off the field to win the Masters by one stroke at Augusta National and become the first Japanese man to claim a major title.

Matsuyama had a four-shot lead heading into the final day and, despite some nervy moments on Sunday, shot a one-over 73 to win on 10 under par.

American debutant Will Zalatoris was his closest challenger on nine under.

England's Justin Rose, who led for two rounds, faded in the final 18 holes with a two-over 74 to end five under.

Xander Schauffele, playing with Matsuyama, birdied the 15th to close to within two shots, but hit his tee shot in the water on the 16th as his challenge finished with a triple-bogey six.

He ended on seven under in a share of third with fellow American and 2015 champion Jordan Spieth.

Spanish world number three Jon Rahm posted a final-day 66 to come in a further stroke back, alongside Australia's Marc Leishman.

Scotland's Robert MacIntyre impressed on his debut and finished joint 12th at two under to secure his place at next year's Masters.

Justin Rose Claims First Round Lead At The Masters

England's Justin Rose hit a sensational seven-under-par 65 to open a four-shot lead on the opening day of the Masters.

Two-time runner-up Rose was two over after seven, but an eagle followed by seven birdies saw the 40-year-old accelerate clear at Augusta National.

Hideki Matsuyama and Brian Harman had set the early pace at three under par as the only other players to break 70.

Patrick Reed, the 2018 winner, shot a 70, while defending champion and world number one Dustin Johnson is two over.

Only 12 players shot under par on the opening day, with England's Tyrrell Hatton and Ireland's reigning Open champion Shane Lowry at one under.

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy and England's Lee Westwood were among those who struggled to tame the iconic Georgia course, finishing on four over and six over, respectively.

Tommy Fleetwood was also having a tough round but he had a hole-in-one on the par-three 16th, having also made an ace at the WGC Matchplay last time out, on his way to a two-over 74.
