Radamel Falcao Scores Equalizer To Hold Athletico Madrid To Draw

Atletico Madrid were held to a last-minute draw at home to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.

Alvaro Morata had put the hosts ahead as he was on the receiving end of a well-timed Antoine Griezmann cross to tap home.

Diego Simeone's side seemed to be headed for a fourth consecutive win but Radamel Falcao's injury-time penalty for the visitors meant the points were shared.

The result took a further downturn as France winger Thomas Lemar was forced off the pitch through injury.

With the result, Atletico now sit two points below second-place Barcelona but have played a game more, with Vallecano lying in 10th.

Crystal Palace Come From Behind To Defeat Manager Less Wolves

Wilfried Zaha completed the comeback at Selhurst Park as his well-taken winner capped Crystal Palace's terrific turnaround against coachless Wolves.

Adama Traore's header earned the visitors a deserved half-time lead that was almost doubled when Ruben Neves hit the post right on the stroke of half-time at Selhurst Park.

But Palace were rewarded in their pursuit of the leveler as Eberechi Eze nodded them level from Michael Olise's pinpoint cross just 63 seconds into the second half.

Zaha then took Odsonne Edouard's pass well in his stride before drilling past Jose Sa for his fifth goal of the season. Wolves came close to rescuing a point in London but Neves' late strike was superbly beaten away by Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita

The win lifts Palace up to 10th place in the Premier League table while Wolves who are currently linked with former Ajax and Borussia Dortmund boss Peter Bosz as the latest name in their search for a successor to Bruno Lage, remain 17th, just one point above the relegation places.
