This season, he has been a constant in the Premier League, scoring seven goals to help the Gunners go five points ahead atop the standings.

"Gabi is still very young, so we know there's still much more to come from him," said manager Mikel Arteta.

"Our supporters see his quality and energy every single time he puts on the shirt and he's the same every day in training, with his hard work and positive values.

Chelsea ‘Make £105 Million Bid To Sign Argentine Star Enzo Fernandez ‘

Enzo Fernandez of Benfica is apparently the target of a £105 million offer from Chelsea, making him the most expensive player in Britain.

After satisfying Fernandez's buy-out clause, the Blues are getting closer to securing the prospective signing.

According to The Telegraph, the financial structure of Chelsea's offer is still being negotiated, but the west London club is now optimistic that a deal can be reached,

Despite the fact that this payment arrangement isn't ideal for Benfica, the Blues are sure they can go through with a deal.

On Sunday, Chelsea announced the acquisition of Malo Gusto from Lyon for £26.3 million. Earlier in the month, Chelsea had a bid of over £75 million including incentives rejected for Fernandez.

The Blues have confidence in landing a deal since Fernandez has been quite vocal about his desire to leave the Portuguese club during the January transfer window.

It's believed that the side of Todd Boehly has made a £105 million bid, which they want to spread over one huge payment and five subsequent instalments.

Fernandez's deal would exceed the previously unheard-of £100,000,000 sum that Man City paid Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in 2021.

David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Malo Gusto are just a few of the new players Chelsea has added to its team this month.

After completing his transfer to Stamford Bridge, Gusto will return to Lyon on loan for the remainder of the current campaign before joining Chelsea permanently in the summer.
