Arsenal and Adidas Launch Second Phase Of No More Red Campaign

The Arsenal men’s team captured the nation’s attention a year ago when they played in white uniforms in their FA Cup third-round clash against Nottingham Forest, formally commencing the campaign.

Arsenal will wear the stripped-down shirt against Oxford United in the FA Cup third-round on Monday, January 9, to celebrate the next phase of No More Red in conjunction with adidas.

Arsenal Women will also support the effort by donning No More Red pre-match training gear jackets in their derby match against Chelsea on January 15 at Emirates Stadium.

Football Transfer News: Jack Butland Signs For Manchester United On Loan From Crystal Palace

Manchester United has recruited Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan until the end of the season.

Butland’s salary will be paid in full for the period he spends at Old Trafford, according to reports.

Butland told the club’s website: “This is an amazing club and one that I am now proud to represent.

“I’m really looking forward to working with an unbelievable goalkeeping group, supporting each other every day to create the best training and playing environment for the team.”

The 29-year-old, who was part of England’s World Cup team in 2018, has yet to play for Crystal Palace this season.

Former Italy and Chelsea Striker, Gianluca Vialli, Dies Aged 58 After Battle With Pancreatic Cancer

The Football World once again, mourns the death of a former player, Gianluca Vialli.

Vialli was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer for the first time in 2017 and again in 2021, soon after Italy’s Euro 2020 victory.

He resigned from his position with Italy in December, citing the necessity for treatment for the ailment.

Before joining Chelsea in 1996, Vialli played for Cremonese, Sampdoria, and Juventus.

Following the departure of Ruud Gullit as Blues player-manager in 1998, he guided the team to triumph in the League Cup, UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and UEFA Super Cup that year.

Vialli retired from playing at the conclusion of the 1998/99 season to concentrate on managing, and Chelsea won the FA Cup and Charity Shield under him until he was fired early in the 2000/01 season.

Vialli earned 59 appearances for Italy, scoring 16 goals, and was most recently the national team’s director of delegation.

Manchester City’s advantage over Premier League leaders Arsenal has shrunk to five points as substitutes Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish combined to defeat Chelsea.
