Air Strike Kills Five Doctors In The Southern Outskirts Of Libya’s Capital Tripoli.

An air strike has killed five doctors in a hospital in the southern outskirts of Libya’s capital Tripoli, an official from the UN-backed government says.

 

A warplane belonging to Khalifa Hafta, the rogue general who commands the Libyan National Army, carried out the attack, the health ministry spokesman added.

 

Libya has been roiled in conflict since the fall of long-time leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

The President signed the agreement on behalf of Nigeria at the 12th Extraordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State on 7th July 2019, in Niamey, Republic of Niger.

 

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, GARBA SHEHU, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

The Federal Government will today commence the implementation of the Friday’s court order proscribing the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, popularly known as Shiites, by publishing the order in the Official Gazette.

 

Top officials of the Federal Ministry of Justice, who spoke under anonymity confirmed the move.

 

The publication of the order in the Official Gazette is part of the Friday’s ruling of the Federal High Court in Abuja, designating the Shiites movement as a terrorist group and proscribing it.

Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court will rule on the application filed by El-Zakzaky, who is seeking permission to travel abroad for medical treatment.

 

The bail hearing comes barely three days after a Federal High Court in Abuja granted the Federal Government the power to proscribe activities of the Shi’ittes’ group
