Nobel Laureate, Professor WOLE SOYINKA has called on President BUHARI to declare a state of emergency as a way to addressing the current state of insecurity in the country.
He made this call in Akure while speaking with newsmen at the Fagunwa Study Group 2nd International Conference.
WOLE SOYINKA also decried the killings, kidnapping and all manner of criminality that had taken the front burner in the country.
Also expressing his worry, Ondo state Governor ROTIMI AKEREDOLU lamented t0he wave of murder in parts of the country noting major roads particularly in the South-West are no longer safe.
