Travis Scott Says He Is Devastated By Death From Stampede At His Concert”.

Travis Scott mentioned he was devastated by the deaths at his concert and was working on meeting the families that lost loved ones.

The rapper added his objective has always been to leave his fans feeling positive and never imagined something like that could happen. The artiste alluded to not knowing what was going on, adding he would have stopped the show if he understood the severity.

According to CNN, Eight people lost their lives at the Astroworld music festival in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 5, after a crowd surge that also saw dozens injured.

Reacting to the tragedy, Travis went on his Instagram Stories to share his thoughts on the incident, noting he was devastated

The rapper sent his prayers to the deceased, saying his team was working on identifying the families to help with the grief.

Police Kill Kidnapper During Ransom Collection

The Nigeria Police Force, Ekiti State Command, has said a joint task team of security agencies in the state, has killed a suspected kidnapper at the point of collecting a ransom in a forest on the Ekiti and Kwara border.

The security forces, it was learnt had laid an ambush for the criminal gang at the point of payment of N2.1million ransom for an abducted victim and chased them after collecting the money until they shot the suspect dead.

Police Public Relations Officer in Ekiti, Sunday Abutu, paraded the kidnapper’s lifeless body at the police headquarters in Ado Ekiti on Thursday.

Abutu added that two victims were rescued alive by the security operatives while efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects continue

Anambra state police command, has said it was not excited by the decision of the proscribed IPOB to call off her sit-at-home order.

The state Deputy commissioner of police, Aderemi Adeoye also said the declaration by the proscribed group will not make the police to lower the guard activated for Saturday’s election.

While speaking ahead of the election, Aderemi Adeoye said the police and other security agencies are fully on ground to ensure safety of lives and properties during and after the poll.

He also reacted to those kicking against the massive deployment of security personnel to Anambra state.
