5 Reasons You Should Consider Having A Court Wedding

You may have realized that an expensive wedding has several disadvantages, whereas there are numerous advantages to having a court marriage.

Here are a few lists of the top reasons why all couples should think about having a court wedding for their forthcoming weddings.

1. Court marriage is fast

Have you ever left a lengthy wedding ceremony thinking that it was great but that it could have been half the length and just as lovely? If lengthy ceremonies aren't your style, rest assured that courthouse marriages are quick and can be completed in within 30 minutes.

Unlike church or traditional weddings, there are no extensive lectures or music in courts, which keeps the events brief and removes a few additional items from your wedding planning list. Isn't that incredible?

With all of the time saved, you'll have more energy for your reception, when you'll celebrate your wedding day with your closest friends and family, rather than the formal part of the celebration.

2. Court weddings have no dress code.

When it comes to weddings, one of the most expensive and time-consuming decisions is what to wear! When you have your wedding at the court, you can wear something other than a white gown.

Because there are no rigorous dress standards, potential couples are free to wear whatever they like and everyone will be delighted. All colors, forms, and styles are possible ensembles, and you can even buy an outfit that you can wear again.

A more relaxed dress code not only allows you to show your personal style more fully, but it also allows you to choose a less expensive option!

3. You’ll have legal security

While being married is a lovely affair, it also has a serious element to it. A court wedding, like a licensed church or licensed office wedding, legally protects both the man and the woman, but primarily the lady. While you may go into marriage expecting the best, things do go wrong from time to time.

Having the legal stability of a court wedding may prove to be a lifeline if things don't go as planned. For example, being legally married shields you from the practice of bigamy, which is punishable by 5 years in prison. As a result, your partner must divorce before marrying someone else.

Note: Bigamy is when you marry someone else when you are still married to the person you married in court.

4. They conserve resources.

If an elaborate ceremony seems too much for your schedule or your budget, getting married in a courthouse could be one of the wisest financial decisions you'll ever make. A traditional wedding on a micro-scale costs roughly N200,000, whereas registering a marriage in court costs only N2,000. You'll have a lot more alternatives for keeping the event on a tight budget.

Even if you spend less money, you and your partner will still be legally referred to as 'Mr' and 'Mrs.'

5. Court ceremonies are less stressful.

One of the primary advantages of a court marriage is that it can be a small event. Planning a large wedding with a large guest list can be difficult at times, especially when you feel the need to satisfy everyone.

A court wedding requires only a few close family members and friends to attend, and after the registry procedure, you can head out for a short reception elsewhere.

Alternatively, you may spend the money saved on a large reception instead, or save it to help you start your new life together. By having a courthouse wedding, you can save yourself a lot of trouble!

Juventus Snatch Late Equaliser & Have Two Sent Off

Juventus scored a dramatic equaliser, had another goal ruled out by the video assistant referee and had two players sent off in an incredible finish to their draw with Salernitana.

Salernitana led 2-0 at half-time through Antonio Candreva's volley and Krzysztof Piatek's penalty.

But Bremer headed one back and Leonardo Bonucci equalised in the 93rd minute after his penalty had been saved.

Arkadiusz Milik thought he had scored a 95th-minute winner but it was offside.

Milik, who had already been booked, took his shirt off in celebration and was sent off.

While Juventus celebrated what they thought was the winning goal, it was announced it would be checked by the VAR official.

That sparked an on-pitch brawl, with Salernitana's Federico Fazio and Juventus' Juan Cuadrado both shown straight red cards, while Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri was also dismissed.

Milik was not offside but the third goal was ruled out as Bonucci, who tried to head the ball into the net but failed to make contact, was judged offside.

Footage later emerged which appeared to show Salernitana midfielder Antonio Candreva playing everyone onside as he was near the corner flag.

Although Juventus salvaged a draw that avoided a first defeat in Serie A this season, the point means they sit a lowly eighth in the table.

Chelsea Defender Reece James Signs New Six-Year Contract

Reece James has signed a new six-year contract with Chelsea, committing to the club until 2028.

It has been widely reported that the deal he has signed will make James the highest paid defender in the club’s history, with terms expected to see him earn at least £250,000-a-week.

James first started training with Chelsea at the age of 6, before rising through the club’s academy after a short stint working with Fulham.

His excellent performances in the youth ranks saw James earn a loan move to Wigan, before returning to Stamford Bridge and making his Chelsea debut in September 2019 against Grimsby in the League Cup.

James has gone on to become a regular feature in Thomas Tuchel’s side, a Champions League winner and an England international.

Speaking about extending his stay, James said: “I am over the moon with my new contract and I’m thankful for the fans, the new ownership and everyone involved in the club. I cannot wait to see what the future holds, and I am sure we will have the chance of winning many trophies.”

Chelsea were keen to get James tied down to a new deal with clubs including Real Madrid and Manchester City believed to have been keeping a close eye on his progress at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea Sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang From Barcelona

Chelsea have signed former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona, with Marcos Alonso set to go the other way after his Blues contract was terminated.

Chelsea are understood to be paying in the region of £10m plus Alonso for the former Arsenal striker.

Aubameyang flew to the UK on Thursday afternoon for his medical and to finalise the deal, which was completed after the 11pm deadline after Chelsea filed the deal sheet to allow more time.

Aubameyang suffered a minor fracture of his jaw in an attack on his home over the weekend. The Gabon forward, who is expected to be out of action for three weeks, can resume non-contact training next week.

Aubameyang moved to Barcelona on a free transfer from Arsenal in January. Although Thomas Tuchel had been reluctant to talk about Aubameyang in public he was keen to work again with a player who scored 79 goals for him in two seasons at Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, Alonso has left Chelsea by mutual consent; He won six trophies in his six years with the club, including the Premier League and Champions League.

Aubameyang's signing means Chelsea have spent a huge £278.4m in the summer transfer window, including the arrivals of Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly. It is the most any club has spent in a single transfer window
