Abraham Hat-Trick Fires Chelsea Past Luton

A Tammy Abraham hat-trick earned Chelsea victory over Luton Town in the FA Cup fourth round to relieve some pressure on manager Frank Lampard.

Abraham slotted in from Timo Werner's cut-back before nodding in a second from Reece James' chip.

Jordan Clark scored for the visitors - after an error by keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga- on 30 minutes to keep them in the game.

But Abraham poked home to seal victory before Timo Werner missed a penalty.

Chelsea will face Championship side Barnsley in the fifth round.

Man Utd Edge Liverpool In Thrilling FA Cup Tie

Bruno Fernandes' superb 78th-minute free-kick gave Manchester United victory in a thrilling FA Cup tie with old rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Liverpool led a fantastic contest through Mohamed Salah, who then equalized after Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford had struck for the hosts either side of the break.

But in a game which had everything last week's drab stalemate between this pair at Anfield lacked, Fernandes came off the bench to have the final word after Fabinho had fouled Edinson Cavani on the edge of the area.

Fernandes might have been slightly off the pace in recent games but when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needed his £47m inspiration to come up with another special moment, the Portuguese delivered, bending his shot round the wall and beyond Allison's reach.

The victory earns United a home meeting with an in-form West Ham side managed by former boss David Moyes in the fifth round.

Felix, Suarez Fire Atletico Seven Points Clear In La Liga

Joao Felix and Luis Suarez combined as Atletico Madrid came from behind to beat Valencia to continue their pursuit of the La Liga title.

Valencia took a shock lead in the 11th minute with a long-range strike from Uros Racic but the league leaders responded when Felix stuck out a foot to prod home from a corner.

Felix then released Suarez for a second after the break.

Substitute Angel Correa added a third to seal a seventh league win in a row.

Atletico now lead nearest challengers Real Madrid, who beat Alaves on Saturday, by seven points with a game in hand.

Covid19: Lagos State House Of Assembly Mosque Lifts Suspension On Jumat Service

After months of closure, the Lagos State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension on Jumat Service within the complex.

The League of Imams of Assembly Muslim Community in a resolution said the lifting of the suspension became necessary after the completion of the sanitation exercise in the mosque.

According to the League of Imams, all those attending jumat prayers should hence adhere strictly to government guidelines on safety protocols.

The Muslim Community commended the efforts of the State Government over necessary precautionary measures put in place to prevent further spread of the deadly virus.
