Because I Show Off My Boobs Doesn’t Mean I Don’t Respect Myself – Abby Zeus

A South African blogger and body positivism activist of Nigerian descent, Abby Chioma Zeus loves to flaunt tantalizingly luscious pictures of her boobs on Instagram without any form of inhibition for reasons best known to her.

When trolls crossed her way recently, calling her a person of low esteem because of the way she shows off her humongous boobs, she bursted out in anger.

How is that low self-esteem? Sounds like you live within the walls of your own personal shame and low self-esteem. Just because I show my boobs doesn’t mean I don’t respect myself. I have come very far and I love my body very much. Don’t talk about what you don’t understand. I’m a very confident person. I have many reasons for doing what I do,”

According to her, she wants women to embrace their body, especially their boobs and to flaunt it with freedom without fear of condemnation or low self-esteem. She also hashtagged #boobsmovement, she encourages and inspires women and girls to love their breasts no matter how they look, saying, it should be an initiative.

In a recent post she said, “I pride myself in normalizing all types of breasts: big, small, perky, saggy. In doing so, we expose breasts in hopes to break the social norms that are “showing female nipples is nudity”. We also expose breasts to show other women and girls that no boobs are perfect and that they should not live their lives comparing their chests to others.”

Popular Nigerian music star, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael,  known by his stage name, Zlatan Ibile, recently debuted his new tattoo and interestingly, it is a portrait of a former African leader.

In a recent Instagram post, the Lagos Anthem rapper shared a photo of himself bare-chested and sporting a portrait tattoo of Ghana's former president, Kwame Nkrumah.

The rapper has honored Nkrumah with a new tattoo. Although Zlatan didn't mention his motive behind the tattoo, it is safe to say it is his own way of honoring the Ghanaian revolutionary who led his country into independence.

An influential advocate of Pan-Africanism, Nkrumah was a founding member of the Organization of African Unity and winner of the Lenin Peace Prize from the Soviet Union in 1962. Meanwhile, in December 2020, Zlatan shared his journey to becoming one of the popular singers in Nigeria.

The singer also noted that he worked in a cold room and went to game centers to gamble so as to be able to feed himself. According to him, he faced so many challenges when he was just starting his career as a musician.

When Zlatan was asked what he would do if he became the president of Nigeria, the singer stated that he would embezzle money. He noted that is what the president and governors are doing. According to him, he will also do basic things for the country, however, he will embezzle some money and leave the country.

Reality TV Star Anto Rants On Mental Health, Says People Have Become Meaner

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Anto Lecky has come out to speak about mental health and its impact on society today.

The reality TV star made this known via her Instagram page on Friday, January 22, 2021.

"I’m just here to rant today...I took this picture 2 years ago at a Mental Health Seminar in South Africa. While I’m grateful that 2 years later, people are becoming more mentally aware, it also seems like people have gotten meaner! What happened to us??," she wrote.

"Someone commits suicide, another person will tweet “Be Kind” but you will scroll down their page and see them trolling people all day long. Make it make sense! Someone will ask their fellow human to report a blog posting lies and humans will say they rather continue reading the gossip."

She went on to address online bullies and social media users who have a thing for making disrespectful and distasteful comments about other people.

"Someone will shave their hair for whatever reason and someone else will say they look like a cancer patient. Someone will get skinny, they must have AIDS. Someone will have big stomach, they must be pregnant. Where did this bad behavior come from?" she added.

"I remember I wrote a post last year about my feelings and problems people close to me were dealing with and humans read it as I was depressed. Some even offered me money thinking I was broke. What is this type of thinking? Who is doing you people?"

"I don’t have the answers but I hope everyone can find happiness. The world around us doesn’t seem to be getting better so you must create happiness for yourself."

On a final note, she stated categorically that she won't answering questions about her mental health from anyone.

"I would love to be a sounding board for anyone that wants to get things off their chest. My DM is open but you have to be very direct and specific. Saying “Hi” will not get you a response. I also won’t be able to answer everyone as my personal mental health is key, but I’ll continue to try and Be Kind to all," she concluded.

Anto was one of the housemates from the second season of Big Brother Naija.
