NCDC Confirms 869 New Cases Of Coronavirus And 10 Deaths In The Country

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 869 new cases of coronavirus and 10 deaths in the country.

The latest figure brings the total confirmed cases to 149,369 out of which 125,722 have been treated and discharged.

The number of deaths recorded from the virus also increased to 1,787 in all the states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Tonto Dikeh – ‘I’m Singlehandedly Raising My Child Without Help From Any Man’

Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she is raising her son without the help of any man.

The movie star made this known via her Instagram page on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

The actress has never shied away from telling the world how she has been raising her son alone.

According to the single mum, she is a proud mum who has been taking care of her son who just turned five. 

"I am A VERY PROUD mom not because I have a child but because I singlehandedly financially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually catered for him with absolutely zero help from any man born of a woman/any woman born of a man. And Uptill Date still DOING THE KINGS STUFF INDEPENDENTLY💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻" she wrote.

"For 5years it’s been my Sweat and Blood, My Love and hugs, My Wealth and Gains. I am proud TO CALL MYSELF MRMOM CAUSE I DID IT ALL ALONE. I pray God never ceases to Amaze us with his Love, We shall never beg nor need Help!"

"I love you dangerously baby boy. Damn, I got it right with you. My sauce, my ace, my gateway, my lead way, my world, thanks for making me a man. Happy birthday, baby."

Dikeh welcomed her son back in 2016 with former husband, Churchill Olakunle.

The former couple got divorced in 2017.

Shaffy Bello Leads In New Nollywood Historical Epic Film ‘Olokun’

Shaffy Bello has been unveiled as the lead star in forthcoming historical epic drama 'Olokun'.

The feature written by Yewande Famakin and directed by Dimeji Ajibola and Adebayo Tijani retells the story of Olokun, the Yoruba deity of wealth and the ocean.

The star actress will play the Yoruba deity in the Yewande Famakin produced feature.

While there are a number of accounts documenting the deity, Famakin reportedly takes a renewed and enigmatic approach to the tale of the queen of the seas set in 1600BC.

'Olokun' also stars Femi Adebayo, Peju Ogunmola, Jide Awobona, Rotimi Adelegan among others. A release date is yet to be confirmed.

Game Of Thrones Stars Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Welcome First Child

American actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have welcomed their first child.

According to PageSix, the 'Game of Thrones' couple were spotted on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in London with their baby.

Harington held tightly onto Leslie’s hand as she cradled the infant in a carrier on her chest, while he carried a large bag.

The couple first announced back in September 2020, that they were expecting their first child together.

The news of the pregnancy was revealed by the UK’s Make magazine.

“A very special all-woman team photographic shoot capturing Rose at this wonderful time as she prepares for motherhood for the first time!,” the mag’s fashion editor Ursala Lake wrote on Instagram.

The couple tied the knot in 2018 in a well-attended wedding.
