Celebrities Mourn Death Of Popular Music Producer Dokta Frabz

Popular Nigerian music producer, Ayorinde Faboro professionally called Dokta Frabz is dead.

Musician, Nikki Laoye said Frabz died after he was shot in the United States.

Frabz had worked with several top Nigerian artists, including Wizkid, Omawumi, and the late Dagrin.

He was born and raised in Lagos where he started his music career at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral in Ikeja.

The music producer during his early music years started as a pianist and drummer. He also played other Sunday School instruments as a kid.

He became a music producer professionally while studying International Relations at Covenant University. He worked for Don Jazzy and D’banj’s Mo’ Hits Record.

Dr. Frabz produced hit songs such as Dagrin’s “Thank God”, WizKid’s “Bombay”, and “Joy” among many others and was the music director for the fourth season of Nigerian Idol.

Samuel Oguachuba popularly called Samklef who confirmed the death of the producer eulogized him calling him a music legend.

Many Nigerian celebrities, entertainers have taken to social media to mourn his demise.

“One of Nigeria’s legendary producers just died. Sad day for me,”…Rip legend! Ayo (dr Frabz) We spoke 2 weeks ago u asked how is Houston treating me? I came to Maryland yesterday only for me to hear that u are no more today. What a sad day! A brother is gone! Another producer is gone! RIP!” Samklef tweeted.

Cobhams Asuquo said: “This one pain me o. This one pain me gan. Dr. Frabz, my own Gee. What can we say? Rest on my brother

DONJAZZY said: “This life sha. RIP Dr Frabz. Broken heart

Ayo Jaguda said: “Rest In Peace Dr Frabz, I’m fucking tight

@VectorThaViper tweeted: “Woke up to a tweet about Dr. Frabz passing away… can’t really say we were close but in our few meets he seemed like an easy person. May God strengthen his family.

DJ Neptune said: “Rest in paradise my brother my friend. Ayo (Dr Frabz) We had big dreams but God knows best. I’m grateful for the life you lived and the hits you made. You are a genius, your legacy will live forever. Good night Frabinabebo aka Jugunu.”

Nigeria Records 240 New Covid-19 Cases And 2 Deaths

In its latest report, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced that Nigeria recorded 240 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths.

This brings the total number of infections in the country so far to 155,657.

Breakdown of the news cases shows that Anambra top the list with-85 Lagos-82 Osun-17 Ogun-10 Kwara-9 FCT-8 Kano-7 Abia-6 Borno-4 Edo-2 Bayelsa-2 Kaduna-2 Rivers-1 155,657 confirmed 133,768 discharged

The number of fatalities recorded by the country also increased to 1,907 deaths.

Twitter Reacts As NBC Bans Ric Hassani’s Song, ‘Thunder Fire You’

On February 26, 2021, moments after releasing his album, 'The Prince I Became,' Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani announced that the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) had banned his single, 'Thunder Fire You' from Nigerian airwaves.

The breakup song, made out of spite and towards a fictional cheating partner and her friends was simply a work of art. Instead, it's been banned from airwaves, for infringing on the laws against strong language. In the past,  NBC has banned 2Baba's 2008 smash hit, 'Enter The Place.'

The ban has since turned promo for the song as sympathizers have flocked to streaming platforms to check the song out.
