Kannywood Actress Ummi Ibrahim Says Former Head Of State General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Was Her Boyfriend

The movie star clears the air about her relationship with the former head of state.

Kannywood actress Ummi Ibrahim popularly known as Ummi Zee Zee has confirmed the rumours of once dating the former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida

She made this known during a chat with DailyTrust Weekend magazine while answering questions about their relationship.

“Yes, that news was from me. Former Head of State General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida was my boyfriend then but not anymore. However, we are presently friends and we respect each other. Currently, I have a boyfriend who is not in the entertainment industry and we are planning to get married, God willing,” she said.

The movie star also used the opportunity to debunk the rumours that she tried to commit suicide.

It is unfortunate that my social media post was wrongly interpreted. The post I made was in English and it was just a grammatical expression showing my bitterness on what had happened to me as a businesswoman,” she said.

The reason for my post was because I was duped by a business partner, and I lost a huge sum of money in the process. It was a breach of trust and it was so devastating that I took to my page and made the post showing my dismay at what had happened to me. The story went viral that I am contemplating suicide. I never said I was going to do that. Why should I even do that?”

It would be recalled that in April, the actress posted what many described as a suicidal note on her Instagram page.

She later revealed that she was duped of N450M by a fraudster.

‘I have never ever in life put my mixtapes on streaming services, so what we’re doing tonight is we are putting Beam Me Up Scotty for the first time ever on streaming services,” she said.

In addition to the collab with Drake and Lil Wayne, the updated version of the mixtape features two other new tracks: ‘Fractions’ and ‘Crocodile Teeth (Remix)’ with Skillibeng.

May 14, 2021 Peruzzi- I Haven’t Gone To Church Since I Met Davido

Peruzzi- I Haven’t Gone To Church Since I Met Davido

Popular singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi, has revealed that he has not gone to church since he met Davido even though he believes in God.

He said this when he featured on Joey Akan’s ‘Afrobeats Intelligence’ where he also spoke about his days as a keyboardist and chorister.

“I haven’t gone to church since I met David. I haven’t been to church in like four years. But yeah, I believe in God,” he said.

“I’ve always seen myself as a star before I met anybody in this industry, I used to act like ‘people are watching me.’ I didn’t have any drip, but I’d make sure that I’m not wearing any fake Gucci, I’m not wearing any fake Versace.

“I’m wearing a plain white shirt. I had my way that I’m going to be something. I didn’t know how, but I knew, ‘guy, I’m going to be something.’ I was already acting like I was. When David met me, I was branding myself already.

“He knew there was a wave. It’s been like that because I always felt like if you know you want to get somewhere, just start preparing yourself for it. [It] wasn’t really fake-fake, ’cause I didn’t rock no fake sh*t. But I faked being a star.”

The singer who said he doesn’t plan to remain a singer forever revealed that he sees himself settling down with his family in California in the next six years.

He said, “Like my mum used to say: ‘Even if you no know where you dey come from, no forget where you dey go. I feel like you can’t just be existing. You have to be living. In the sense that, you have to be about something.

“And me, I’ve always known where I want to be, I can tell you where I want to settle down; Malibu, California. I just want to be there smoking my weed in like six years from now with my wife and my two kids.

“I already know everything I want in this life. I know because I feel like you’re supposed to know. If not, why are you living? Why are you working? Why am I even singing? Am I singing because I want to be singing forever?

“I can’t be singing forever now. I’m singing because after singing, I have to do something. I have to be somewhere.

“I have to say ‘yes, this is what my life turned out to be.’ From going to primary school, going to high school, going to uni, it has to result in something. It would be no use for me living if I don’t have a destination.”

Peruzzi has been signed to Davido Music Worldwide since 2018 and has a new album titled ‘Rum and Boogie’.
