Iyabo Ojo And Tonto Dikeh Threaten Fire And Brimstone As Police Plans To Release Alleged Child Molester Baba Ijesha From Custody

Tonto Dikeh says plans by the police to release Baba Ijesha means war.

Nollywood movie stars Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh have vowed to resist any attempt by the police to release the alleged child molester Baba Ijesha.

The movie stars who have been vocal since the story broke about a week ago took to their social media pages where they expressed anger over the news.

"I don't know who is in charge of Baba Ijesha's case but I have made it my business because a teenager is involved. And I want to say this to whoever is in charge of this case that is thinking...because a lot of my colleagues have called me to stop talking about this issue, but as long as they continue to play magomago, I am going to be on this issue," Ojo said on Wednesday night.

For Dikeh, the decision of the police to release the alleged child molester means war.

"I knew this would happen. Hence I have been pursuing for this case to be transferred to Abuja. I don't mind taking care of the accommodation, security and transportation for the victim's team. I said it, this is war because of my inside knowledge of this case. It's really going to be a war," Tonto wrote.

Ojo also expressed her desire for Baba Ijesha to be used as a scapegoat.

"This live video is for the people in charge of this case. We are going to say no to molestation and yes I stand to use one of my own as a scapegoat. If they release Baba Ijesha, we are going to rearrest him and this will no longer be a state thing, it will now become Federal," she added.

A source at the Lagos State Police Command had revealed that the alleged child molester will be granted bail soon.

According to the source, because of the ongoing JUSUN strike, the actor cannot be detained indefinitely without trial.

Interestingly, the source also shared some suspicion in the allegations levelled against the actor.

Actor, Baba Ijesha arrested for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl starting from when she was 7.

"Regarding this new case, the CCTV footage has been assessed and nowhere was it captured that Baba Ijesha defiled her. The footage only showed him touching the victim’s body but it never showed him having any sexual intercourse with the girl. The girl also confirmed the same thing," the source said.

This comment has been greeted with an uproar on social media, with Nigerians slamming the police.

The actor was arrested about a week ago by the Lagos State Police Command about a week ago for defiling the 14-year-old girl.

The teenager is the foster daughter of popular Nigerian comedian, Princess.

Chadwick Boseman’s Family React To Oscar Loss, Insist It Was Not A ‘Snub’

The deceased star's 'Best Actor' Oscar loss to Anthony Hopkins sparked online controversy on Monday.

Chadwick Boseman's brother has reacted to post-Oscar reactions claiming the actor was unfairly snubbed at the ceremony.

In a chat with TMZ, Derrick Boseman revealed the family had no hard feelings towards Anthony Hopkins and had Chadwick been alive, he would have been the first to congratulate the 83-year-old actor.

While congratulating Hopkins, Boseman also added that winning an Oscar would have been an achievement for the late actor but not to the point of 'obsession'.

The deceased actor was nominated in the award's 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' category for his role in 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom', his last movie before he died from a prolonged battle with cancer at 43.

Boseman's loss to Anthony Hopkins did not go down well with fans as they accused producers of exploiting his death for ratings. The surprise change from the traditional announcement that saw the Best Actor/Actress categories closing the show also fueled speculations regarding the Academy's motives.

Comedian Princess Says Her Foster Child Is The Victim Actor Baba Ijesha Allegedly Defiled 7 Years Ago

Princess says the actor was caught on CCTV trying to molest the child 7 years after defiling her.

Nigerian comedian Princess has revealed that her foster child is the one actor Baba Ijesha molested 7 years ago.

In an emotional video shared via her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the comedian narrated how the actor defiled the young girl when she was 7.

Princess said after the crash of her marriage, some parents allowed their children, six in number, to come and live with her so she wouldn't be lonely.

"I have read and heard a lot over the last few days. I don't wish anyone to go through what I'm going through. Some years ago I had challenges in my marriage and some parents in my area out of compassion allowed their children to stay with me so that I won't feel lonely," she said.

"There were six of them - 3 boys and 3 girls. Baba Ijesha had some challenges and came to me for help. I enrolled him for GCE. That day, he came for more help and I was at home."

The comedian revealed that it was on his visit to her house that he defiled the little girl.

According to her, the actor warned the child not to tell anyone.

"He even came the next day to be sure that she didn't tell anyone. He told her that he brought fruits that she should come downstairs to pick them. When she followed him down, he used his key to defile her," an emotional Princess revealed.

She said the defilement harmed the child as she began to decline academically and otherwise.

However, seven years after, the child revealed to her that she was defiled by Baba Ijesha.

"I sent him a DM, told him that I had a movie to shoot so he should come to the house. While he was on his way I told CCTV company to come and fix a camera, because I remembered what my sister told me that if we do not have evidence, people will think we want to set Baba Ijesha up," she added.
